As you know I track the posted injuries each week as part of my match threads and I can't remember them ever going above 13... ever.....

The frustrating thing is, for all people go on about what a **** squad we've got, you could put together a team out of that lot to give anybody a good game. It's so frustrating, and if we don't get a good few of these back soon then 13 points might start to look like a lot of points to get to reach safety. It's getting beyond a joke.

This really is atrocious. Along with the ACON withdrawals that means that we are effectively without entire first team, plus half the bench. Makes you wonder what on earth is going on right now that so many players are becoming injured. By the look of it we might as well write off the entire month of January at this rate.

Guys, the top five on the list were only "injured" for the FA Cup, with both Abeid and Krul available for Chelsea. There's only 7 or 8 actual injuries and even among that we shouldn't be missing the likes of Elliot, Good or Ryan Taylor. (I said shouldn't)

There's certainly 4 'cup injuries' there. Amazing how our first-teamers get injured when cup games come up.

    Ashley out.
