    Probably an eredivisie player. Kramer, De Jong or milik are my guesses.

    All good but I'd be really excited about milik.

    Regarding people's (serious) guesses:

    Insigne - not a striker
    Adrian Lopez - not an out and out striker. Only moved in the summer. That transfer then values him at 20m euros
    Martinez - out of our price range.
    de Jong - only moved in the summer and has been useless in both Germany and England
    Castaignos - seemingly would be useful. Young, tall, relatively good goal record. Bad spell at Inter but moved too soon. Versatile as can play along the front. Would probably be a permanent signing as I cannot imagine why they would be prepared to loan out a key player

    A name floated on Saintsweb is Bas Dost. A link from the summer. Tall target type striker who is apparently out of favour at his German club (so a loan may be more feasible)

    People (including me) are theorising loan to buy deals, but such deals are only going to be for out of favour strikers. Out of favour strikers don't tend to have good goal records...

    I like the look of the lad from Anderlecht, Mitrovic. Seems like he would fit our style.
    Perhaps even the promising croatian lad linked with chelsea might actually decide being on relatively even pegging with Pelle in a squad rather than miles behind costa in the pecking order (and arguably behind Remy as well) would be a better career decision...

    Are they all good?
    As posted above De Jong has tanked in both Germany and England.
    Kramer has spent his career in the second tier of Dutch football / mid table Eredivisie.
    Milik is on loan for the season at Ajax who have the option to buy so that is a no go

    I think I knew that about Milik, had something in my mind about him. I do rate the other two though although I've only seen Kramer a few times with De Jong a few more.

    If anything I would have thought we would 've targetting another striker in the pelle mould rather than someone small and pacey

    Apparently the Rumor on twitter is that Cork's agent is the stumbling block regarding the contract negotiations. He's asking for more than SFC are willing to offer. Source: Ben Stanfield.

    If true that sounds a lot like FM2014 where the agent wants his wages doubled making him one of the top earners at the club. If it is anything even close to life mirroring fiction then I am not surprised if there is stalling

    But as you say there is no source to this
