Good Morning Everyone and a Happy New Year to all. Redfearn has told Austin he can go in the January transfer window as soon as he can find a suitable replacement. The 29yo midfielder hasn't really put in the performances this season, and even though nobody would doubt his commitment or passion, he loses the ball too easily. Millwall and Brighton (the two teams directly below us) are standing by. As you will have read on other threads, Leeds have been linked to Danny Ward. The Terriers front / wide man signed for them last season for 1m have scored 10 goals for them during a loan spell (sound familiar?). He has been unable to find any form at all this season, and has only played a handful of games. The only player who's fortunes we turned around when we signed him was Ross McCormack. The other 100 or so were left to rot in our reserves. Don't take that risk Redders...
Morning all. Says it all when that's the calibre of player were being linked with again. Might as well have kept hall, Stewart or Kebe.
Good morning from a sunny crisp Cote de Bardsey to Matt and his crew I have watched Ward a great deal and I have to say he plays as if he his wearing blinkers very strong but totally useless Town paid A million pounds for him I think he was Lee Clarke signing so it says it all really the only saving grace for Lee was that he signed Jordan Rhodes Ward is definately no better than what we have had now Harry Bunn from Town that would be different if this is the type of player Thompson is recommending god help us
Wakey wakey time. The only players we will be looking at are cast offs. Worse still cast offs from the likes of Huddersfield town, so forget about unearthing gems. Austin has his faults but dont be surprised his replacement will be even worse. There is no attraction to signing for Leeds anymore for a half decent player. Its sad but true
The money required just to pick up shyte from the UK is a joke, therefore Salerno will be looking at more quality at a better price from abroad. Whatever happens will be a huge gamble because it'll get wasted under the Redders regime. He can't change tactics, he can't play people in their strong positions, he likes them to play in an alien format where the art of the game seems to be to have no strikes on goal for 90 minutes. Sorry Neil but please go back with the kids Oh and happy New Year guys
Agree with comments above... We simply cannot get gems or players who are worth something! I've seen Danny Ward a few times and I think he'll be a decent singing! It means we can play him one side and Adryan the other, so we can finally play a 4-4-2! I know we've signed some dross but one mans trash is another mans treasure! Ward could come in and do a great job for all we know!
Morning troops. I think before we sign any forwards, we should see what Montenegro is made of. Either that or send him back
Morning all I can't see how Ward would benefit the squad if what people are saying is true. We'll most likely get rid of Hunt and bring this guy in Bye Bye Austin it's not like we're going to miss him. There are better players out there and as he's out of contract in the summer let's get some money for him now while we can. I think I've found the loop hole in the embargo ruling that will allow us to sign new players. We don't have '25 regular players' so I THINK we might be able to bring in one or two more
Morning all, from sunny spain. The streaming site wiziwig has been forced to close down due to new laws in spain, pity cos it was a good site for live streams. Can't see the point in signing more average players, and as we cant pay for signings can't really see where any quality is going to come from.
Morning Double D's We need not only to get a few more players in, but we need a balanced side. That's what we have not had all season.
I'm amazed we'll get any money for him. Blimey, can't be much. Could it be that we are not playing Montenegro because of the 25 regular player rule?
Morning Est, hope you had a good Christmas pal. There are many other streaming sites that are equally as good. Have you tried http://www.footballstreaming.info/ We need a bit of quality now andd a damn good defensive midfielder that can sit infront of our back four and marshall them
