Very impressed with him today. Definitely looks like he can make the step up.

When we lost Robertson, I thought, thats ok, we got Rosie. Then when Rosie went off I thought "oh ****..." but yeah, young Harry was a frigging unit, great on the ball, great going forward, solid in defence, and didnt look like he was new to this level at all.

**** interesting times, these are exciting times again!

If we were to go down, Harry Maldini would certainly make me feel happy with our defence.

He played well enough for people to start spelling his name correctly. As this thread proves.

Agreed. Was really impressed with Maguire. Big, strong, good in the air, knows how to tackle, and looks like he belongs against strong forwards like Lukaku. Another great acquisition by SB. Alex also played very well.

We generally defended well and Maguire slipped effortlessly into the back 5. A good sign.

We are running out of fullbacks however.

Thought he looked good against Swansea too - not afraid to run with the ball either - good job with our run of injuries currently.

That run down the right wing near the end, taking on 3 players was both hilarious and brilliant in equal measure

I like big Harry a lot. Strong and a good tackler.

    Beat me to it.

Looks a solid young lad. Time to start throwing him in the team imo, but not sure where. Bruce has been playing brilliantly for a bit now, Dawson will also be back soon. Can't see where he'll fit.

Looking forward to seeing how he copes with a more technical opposition on Sunday.

He still drifts out of position but Bruce Jr. helped him a lot in his positional play. Massive difference compared to when he played alongside McShane away to West Brom. Took two good tactical fouls to break down Everton attacks. Massive improvement and will only get better.

Notice nobody is complaining about playing people out of position today (our back four were all centre backs).

For a start, it was a back 5. And what choice was there? I did comment in the MOM thread that it was strange moving Elmo into the middle and Chester to wing back though.

Was Chester doing a job on Miralles?
