Rebecca Capelhorn, QPR's FD for 5 years has been headhunted by Spurs. Apparently she is highly thought of and Fernandes rates her. Given the state of our accounts it's hard to see why. She is serving out her notice while a replacement is sought. I heard a couple of blokes from Tesco are available.
If she can hide all of Harry's dealings, I can see the appeal of her to Levy. He strikes me as being a shady fella to say the least.
QPR finance director Rebecca Caplehorn is to leave the club after being appointed head of football operations at Tottenham. Caplehorn, who has been at Loftus Road for five years since 2009, is set to become a prominent figure at Tottenham after being headhunted by chairman Daniel Levy. That sounds like a token role if ever I heard of one. Transfer fees sanctioned by TF, contracts negotiated by PB and even the bars in the stands will be third party run. Basically leaves her in charge of wage slips for the turnstile staff.
Please submit your CV through the usual channels. Please be aware that QPR is an equal opportunities employer. We are especially proud of our record in providing work for the disabled. Currently 75% of the first team squad fall into this category. We are unique in our post mortem employment practices, currently 100% of our management team is, in fact, dead, and we see no reason to discriminate against them.
That must've been the standout feature on her CV that attracted us Sadly she clearly oversold her experience there lol
I have a lot of time for her. I know from experience that she replied to E mails & even instructed Mr Taylor, who of course had forgotten to reply, that he must as well. It wouldn't have mattered who we had as finance Director. If TF & friends want to spend there ain't anything you can do about it. Good luck to you Rebecca. An increase in salary, responsibility & a more secure position. Who of us wouldn't have accepted that package?
My Dads neighbor is an accountant. So big deal UTR's I hear you all say, well his surname is Fiddler I kid you not. When I next bump into him I will say there is an ideal job going at HQ for him..
Looking at the squad it's also very clear that there is no hint of ageism in our employment philosophy. Our manager is of course well past retirement age, which his why we make sure he only works 5 hours a week (including travel time).
