Some big decisions for Brucey. Jelly and Hernandez should be reunited up front. Chester back at the err back. Robbo back too?? 4-4-2 or 3-5-2?
I imagine it'll be Jake and Meyler to do the donkey work, Brady's position in jeopardy. Ince showed up well in two brief appearances. Hmmm big decisions.

    Cant wait.

Steve Bruce is gearing his side up for a big New Year’s Day home game against Everton.

With the Tigers looking to earn their second win of the festive season, supporters have been snapping up tickets for the clash with the Toffees and Bruce knows how vital the home support can be.

“The support that we have received this season both home and away has been absolutely fantastic,” said Bruce.

“Everton on New Year’s Day is undoubtedly a huge fixture for us and it is important that our fans
continue to get behind the team in very much the same fashion as we look to bounce back from Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Leicester City.

“Victory over Everton could be the springboard we need going into 2015, and I ask our fans to get right behind the lads and be our 12th man when Roberto Martinez’s side come to town.”

    4-4-2
    McG
    Rosey Chester Davies Robbo
    Elmo Livermore Meyler Brady
    Jelly Hernandez

    3-4-1-2
    McG
    Chester Bruce Davies
    Elmo Livermore Meyler Robbo
    Brady*
    Jelly Hernandez

(* Swap for Ramirez if you so desire)
Having said that, I reckon the gaffer will pair Aluko and Jelavic up top and use Hernandez as a sub again.

    I think we'll miss Quinniesta.

Why play Chester and rosie out of position if a back four Rosie Chester Davies Robertson seems a more balanced set ip.

I'm just hoping we have an actual striker in the starting 11 this time.

If bruce starts aluko & jela up front, i will personally drive him to newcastle myself! he's tried this pairing more than jela & hernandez and i dint think its better at all! hernandez & jela are a threat up front, seemed to pull leicester all over! i'd like ince or ramirez to start ahead of livermore

    Rosie Chester Davies Robbo
    Elmo Livermore Ramirez Ince
    Jelavic Hernandez

I expect Meyler instead of Ramirez, I'd just let Livermore play slightly deeper and give Ramirez freedom, we have nothing to lose.

I also expect Aluko to parter Jelavic up top which i will be bitterly disappointed with.

It would be crazy to start aluko up front, he looks absolutely lost, he plays well from midfield but put him up front and he's very ineffective, he was absolute rubbish against leicester!

I think Rosie might be out, he was in Hull yesterday afternoon and was limping quite badly.

Liam Rosenior is the big injury worry (achilles) for Hull City v Everton. Andrew Robertson and Gaston Ramirez have a chance. #hcafc

Rosie is an injury doubt and Huddleston serves his 4th and final game suspended.

Well we could not be facing Everton at a better time. Poor form and a massive injury list.

Just hope that we start the game like we finished the Leicester game. Time to go for broke.

Even if Rosie is out we have Chester back and for sure SB must start with Hernandez and Jelavic.

Please just start with the forwards on the pitch Steve . Aluko might be ok as an impact sub
