There are reports coming out of Italy that Leeds United and Cardiff City have joined the race to sign Empoli goalkeeper Davide Bassi. The player looks to be leaving the club and the two Championship sides are both showing a keen interest in him.

Another report linking us with Francesco Bardi another keeper, all rumours but if true surely not a position we are looking at for a loan purpose unless they are set to play, I mean we're not looking for another reserve keeper are we??
