I actually don't think that's far from the truth tbh, against arsenal they were the ****test id seen them play in years!

We seem to be so good at winning the ball back in seconds with this system and our passing is decent

Without the Fabianski fiasco and the Shelvey OG it could have been very tricky. Swansea all but caved at 4 1.

We played well either way and Swans were a challenge going forward when it was even 3 1.

<laugh> Must have been the way Rodgers was wiggling that made them make a mess of it

Loved the 2 in the second half. The chop to Henderson which the commentator called "risky" when as no one near cutting it out... and then the little behind the leg flick to Moreno in the corner <laugh>

Who picks the MOTM, seriously <doh>

First goal was lucky... 2nd was really good and he did play well, but Coutinho was far and away the best player on the pitch.

I'm happy as a pig in muck at that...

Sterling is probably now going to get a ban mind

The only bad thing for me was Skertl abdicating responsibility in the box by waving a hand randomly and assuming someone else would mark bony the only guy ever going to score as a result they did score!!

Coutinho played his best by a mile this year, got a nice run in a nice slot for him and it's worked

Lallana scored a real one but for me he is in his heels a lot too, he can improve I hope

But can... Has to maintain the slot on that performance.... Really really good.

No passengers makes a big difference too, that's all in saying!

  9. Combination of the two. Swansea were poor IMO but if we hadn't put them under pressure they'd have dealt with whatever we came up with. I think 4-1 is flattering to us and harsh on them TBH

Swansea clearly had an eye on their next game. We played great mind, pressed Hugh and caused a lit of problems. Would be happy with the same team v Leicester.

  12. Won't be possible. Skrtel is definitely suspended after getting a fifth yellow for the season. Sterling will probably pick up a ban for raising his hand too.

Said at the start of the game that our team setup was really promising. Shock horror, our best performance (imo) of the season. Such a mobile midfield and attack works for us and the high intensity pressing is the foundation of our play really. Some brilliant performances. At halftime, people here were nay saying Lallana (again) but he and Coutinho worked their bollocks off all game even without the ball. Constant pressing and keeping hold of the ball too - they really came into the second half when the confidence came. Coutinho motm for me, but Lallana got the commentator's due to goals. Sterling had a tough game against the wrestling Fernandez and strong Williams but worked hard too and again, improved greatly as the game went on with confidence.

Aside from that obvious trio, I though Can was brilliant and calm at the back which massively helped launch counter attacks, Moreno in the first half and Manquillo great in the second (again, shock horror when we play both of our best fullbacks, we look balanced and play well - learn please Rodgers) and Lucas/Henderson were willing and mobile workers all game.

Gerrard cannot waltz back into this team, nor can Balotelli. Let the team build on this.

  14. What I find amazing about the Sterling incident is that the linesman was right there, why didn't he make the referee aware...?

I hope toure comes in for Skertl and then keeps him out all season

    Skertl abdicates responsibility too much

And anyway lallana is one trick but I did say at half time he worked hard the question is when sturridge returns who drops out... Has to be lallana unless he wants an Lwb slot

Finally some props for Moreno, never threatened and made look bad but the boys been out seeing a winger in his slot and came in and did well enough
