Meh. My optimism about this match just took a major blow. As if losing Clyne is not a blow enough, no, we need to weaken our central defense by shifting Toby to right back. Oh well. At least we have a very good lineup in the midfield and attack.
Just heard the news about Clyne and my confidence has dropped. If we are to get something off the top teams we really need our best, settled defense in place, not the case today so I think it might be a struggle, hopefully I'm proved totally wrong.
Fixtures have dicked us a bit here. I'm not expert but Clyne's knee looked like it would hurt for a few days and then be fine. If this game was tuesday possibly even monday I reckon he'd have played.
