A squad player with the Spanish club, the 29-year-old is not getting much playing time in Madrid and wants out. Rodriguez has over 80 caps for Uruguay and is also wanted by Glasgow Rangers, but QPR are pushing hardest to sign him. He played in all four games for his country at the World Cup, including their victory over England. But Rodriguez, who is under contract until June 2016, has only made a handful of appearances for Atletico.
