Interesting thought even if a little left field. David Burns @bbcburnsy 3m3 minutes ago I could see Jake Livermore in at right-back for suspended Chester for Hull City v Leicester. Any other changes down to fresh legs. #hcafc
Agreed Happy. Despite their position Leicester are no pushover. They have a big weakness in defence in Morgan but could cause us problems in attack with Mahrez/Ulloa even though Vardy is out. But we'll be on a high and hopefully will not let down from the second half performance at Sunderland. Livermore in for Meyler, Rosie over to RB for Chester and Robertson back in if fit at LB (if not, Figgy ?). Another 3 points (2-0) will push us up the table and give us some breathing room. A loss...and we're back in the thick of it.!!!
Potential line up. I can't imagine the exact same team starting in terms of injuries and suspensions. It should be interesting because Bruce's hand will be forced in different positions and I aren't entirely sure he can stick with the same formation. -----------------------McGregor Rosenior--------Davies---------Bruce-------Robertson Elmohamady----Meyler-----Livermore----Brady/Quinn -----------Hernandez------------Ramierez Who knows.
No way Meyler or Quinn can be dropped after the way they played at Sunderland. Same team for me with Maguire in for Chester.
Kinell. I meant drop their heads not their shoulders. I am outraged no one has picked me up on that! This is a game I really can't call too. I know the knicker wetters will be out in force if we lose, and if we win they'll be getting banned from the Leicester board no doubt, but after beating Sunderland I think Id take the glass half full approach as usual cos I really didnt expect owt from that, so in my head we're 3 points up from where I thought we'd be a few days ago. I love all the games this time of year, just hate not going to them. At least my ticket's arrived for the FA Cup 3rd round, so sommat to look forward to.
We have been in shocking form look at our last home game against Swansea beating Sunderland has given everyone a big lift how ever because of our injuries/suspensions then this will be a tough game i would be over the moon with a scrappy 1.0 win. Lets hope we can, it would make a massive difference and its about time City give the home fans something to cheer about, come on City lets back them all the way
We should be looking to fix our goal difference tomorrow really as it could prove important come the end of the season. And any team looking to finish in the top 10 should have a respectable goal difference.
Team for tomorrow (4-4-2): McGregor Rosenior Davies Bruce Robertson Elmohamady Livermore Quinn Brady Ramirez Aluko
Thanks for asking. Tomorrow is the day all my family come round to mine. Can't say I miss the 3 hour drive to Hull at this time of year, especially with the weather forecast.
I think we'll be in for a tough game tomorrow. Leicester are bottom of the league and are struggling to score goals but from what I saw on MOTD last night they did very well against Spurs and probably should have won with the amount of chances they had. Their problem is shipping goals, their defence is all over the place. Our problem is creating chances and scoring goals.. Likely outcome? 1-2 :-(
If Robertson is fit McGregor Rosenior Bruce Davies Robertson Elmo Livermore Quinn Brady -------------Ramirez---------------------- --------------Jelavic----------------- If Robertson isn't fit McGregor Meyler Bruce Davies Rosenior Elmo Livermore Quinn Brady ---------------Ramirez---------------- ---------------Jelavic----------------------
I would stick to the tried and tested 3-5-2. It works, it suits our players and we generally play well with that formation. Mahrez won't be able to do anything if he is perpetually chasing our attacking fullbacks as we dominate possession.
