Morning Elland and all. Haven't a clue what to expect. Given recent form a scoreless draw is probably most likely. At least if we do manage a win we'd be at least ten points ahead of bottom two which would be a decent cushion. Only third relegation spot left to avoid. Given our usual Xmas form I'm not expecting much
Eire it was only a couple of seasons ago we were 2nd after the Boxing day match, and odds on for promotion. What followed was a nightmare and we ended up missing out and the form was relegation form. Last year was relegation form post Xmas, so being a couple of points off relegation places already scares me shytless. Wigan have parachute money, a solid squad, a decent owner but struggled for management, but should be pushing for promotion, whereas we need to start being competitive and consistent. I think we may loose today
