Whilst I sympathise that health problems might be the main reason why Castro's Coffin no longer watches Hull City, I can't help but wonder if this man is one of the most miserable moaners on the internet.

For too long we have had to suffer his negative ramblings on here and CI under his other guise Hull Time 8. In my opinion, this man was (but is no longer) an Hull City supporter. I believe true supporters love their club from cradle to grave. This man, with his anti Hull City supporter and anti modern football ramblings, has abandoned the club he purports to support.

Some of his comments are completely ridiculous. To claim that you are only a supporter if you sing at games is crazy. I know countless people who never sing but love Hull City with a passion. Maybe the silent types are actually watching the game rather than acting the show off drunken idiot. Don't get me wrong. I love it when fans show vocal support. But fans show their support in different ways. I have had some great conversations about City with quiet supporters. Likewise I sometimes have met clueless types who are obnoxiously loud.

It is also an insult for this clown to suggest the sit down types are only at games to watch the opposition. I, and other more reserved types, are as passionate as vocally singing fans in pursuit of a Hull City victory. I, like my father and grandfather before me, have Hull City coursing through my veins. My family have never been singing Hull City fans, but we have permanently been present at City games home and away since before the first world war. Indeed there are so many City fans who never sing but are very loyal supporters of the club. I, myself, have been watching City since 1980 and have seen City play on well over 100 different grounds and been present at all the iconic rubbish City games (Southend, Torquay, Chester etc).

At the end of the day, however we support our club, we are all members of the Tiger Nation. Unlike CC, I even welcome new fans. When we play in the Premier League we are going to get more people jumping on the Hull City bandwagon. Ask yourself if these new supporters are only here to watch your Gerrard's and Rooney's then how come we still get near full houses against the likes of Palace and Stoke? Remember we have had plenty of 20000 plus crowds in the lower divisions.

Personally, rather than slagging off Hull City supporters and Premier League football (the biggest sporting league on the planet with some great players), I believe CC should reserve his anger for those non Hull City believers. Why can't CC vent his spleen at bitter eggchasers who hate Hull City or those imbeciles who walk around this area wearing the colours of other football clubs?

I have no doubt that in his day CC was a excellent Hull City supporter. Like my family, he kept loyal to the Hull City cause when so many locals deserted the Tigers. But unlike my family, he has now himself deserted the Hull City cause. His own ignorance and bitterness has made him an EX Hull City supporter. He has abandoned his club. For me, only genuine health, work, financial reasons should stop a true supporter attending Hull City matches. He may have health concerns, but I believe he has grown bored of Hull City. But surely a true supporter will always love their club? Like my family, I will love and support my club until my dying day.

It's a shame CC has given up on Hull City in one of the best periods in the club's history, but I guess it's his choice. I, alongside my dad who has been fanatical about Hull City since 1946, will be at Sunderland tomorrow cheering on the mighty Tigers. let's hope for a similar result as last season when the mackems where streaming out the ground in their thousands when City went two nil up. Indeed at the final whistle I don't think I have seen a ground so empty as the SOL was that day. If only a non believer like Castro's Coffin had seen such a sight!

Maybe you didn't read it because you are also a non Hull City fan. You just come across as a trolling Hull City hater. Some of your rantings against our most successful ever manager are shameful. All true Hull City supporters are grateful for what Steve Bruce has done for Hull City.

People can support HCFC in their OWN way.
I guess that your opinion on who is a real fan is what counts.

In my opinion Patty, by constantly sniping at Hull City supporters and football, Castro's Coffin is no longer a Hull City Supporter.

You don't have to be a member of this forum to be a great Hull City supporter.

I kinda thought this was a forum, not everyone has to agree.
Forums denote that people may criticise as well as praise. It doesn't make you any less of a supporter if you are critical of the hierarcy rather than a supporter of it.

As a Hull City lover do you differentiate between fans, supporters and followers. Is your opinion that you can only have 1 football team and no other football team can be considered? What is your opinion on 'occasional followers' of a football team.

Castro is not too good health wise at present...He doesn't need an excuse not to go to games.

Either this is a wind up ....or your an idiot .

I think your on a wind up, which fails big style due to Castro's health problems .

Ps....All the best Castro and any one Else who can't make it because of health reasons

Entitled to your own opinion but I will vouch for Castro and add that it's a bit strange to be having a dig at one of the clubs longest serving supporters at this, time hence I put it down to a wind up or a pay back post off someone who has been annoyed by one of CC's previous posts.
Or maybe from someone posting from another time zone trying to be ironic but failing?
If CC has lost the enthusiasm somewhat then I can quite understand it.
I remember a long time ago waking up at this time on a Boxing Day morning looking forward to a trip to see City at Blackpool, one bus going ( if we were lucky) and organised independently. CC will have been on the bus. I actually missed the bus because I couldn't get to YEB in time for its departure and hitchihiked to the game instead which was actually fogged off at the very last minute.
Football was different then and of course we were a lot younger.
As the club rose up the football ladder and we all got greyer, wiser and in many cases bald, much of our football day's home and away experience has been chipped away, I still have the enthusiasm and will be on an independent bus to Sunderland in a couple of hours time, the highlight of my Christmas, but I know that at my age, I am indeed fortunate to still be in the position to book on such trips without any hesitation and I know CC would equally love to be traveling with us.
I was at a do a couple of days ago and people who know me always ask me 'What's going wrong at City'? Then give me their view on it without waiting for my reply.
Innocent enough perhaps but an indicator of the club's status today that everyman and his dog has an opinion on Hull City and football.
These particular party guests hadn't seen a game between them all season, 'only on the telly,' one was an Arsenal fan......from Hull, the others all experts on the failings of Steve Bruce and the modern game. I was bored out of my skin listening to them.
A few years ago the men in the kitchens at parties would only have been talking about 'the divided city' and making up exaggerated stories about the great game of eggchasing. No-one mentions it these days.
So be thankful for small mercies.
Up the Tigers, and leave CC out of it, he is 100% old school.
    0-0 today.......cannot wait.

Yes? Oh soz, no, I don't like rugby at all, so I don't support any of the Hull teams in that "sport" mate.

Regarding Castro, he's a nobcheese of the highest order who likes to criticize other people for not going to games for good reasons whilst regularly posting about his health and why he doesn't go, but, hes a nobcheese that supports Hull City, no doubt there.
