Cristmas shooping will be tomorrow now, couldn't be fecked today, will do a present shop during the day then go 24hr supermarket around 10pm for food and that. Weds I'll do a booze cruise of another supermercado either before or after the gym.
A couple of years ago I bought the mrs' (nm) presents on Christmas Day morning (I went to Tesco around 11.30pm, actually paying and leaving after midnight)
It was more than she's used to TBF, I bought loads of random bollox that made it quite funny in the end. I let her choose her true present in the january sales #catch
No mate, I've let her pick what she wants afterwards quite a few times. Always skint before Christmas for obvious reasons so we agreed to just do it that way. Of course, she never does and I look a **** on Christmas Day every year but so be it
Present shop done in possibly a record 1hr 45mins (not counting the drive out to the golf pro shop for something which is out in the sticks, went there late morning and it was a nice drive there and back) Food shop this evening after 10pm, will still be busier than a normal Tuesday at that time, but better than the outright chaos of daytime in there today and tomoz.
Dry aged beef and fried potatoes for the evening meal, got a 7 year Havana Club and coke on the go Christmas is certainly here.
