He could change his mind, he's not a really famous actor so I don't think you would turn down making another transformers, he's not gonna get many better film offers.

Michael Bay is a dreadful film-maker (though a competent director of explosions and action scenes)

All his movie's characters re-enforce racist, misogynist, vacuous stereotypes.

They're basically just thinly veiled Military recruitment videos, with plot-hole ridden morally empty stories crammed with lightning-speed edits designed for thick as pigshit short-attention-spanned American teenagers to get all hyped up with nationalist fervor and whoop 'USA USA!' to...

Oh for people (I'm not American) like myself who watched the Transformers cartoons in the late 80s and 90s and were stoked to see a live-action version...

EDIT: Sorry, that response was a little overly defensive of me. I agree he's a shallow film-maker who knows only how to blow things up, make cars go fast, and allow unnecessary female characters look as hot as possible, but he doesn't try to hide it, and Megan Fox shouldn't have pretended she expected any more from the Transformers series and her role in it.
I do think it's a little lazy to suggest he seeks to recruit kids to the American forces and promote patriotism considering all of his movies usually make the military and police authorities look completely inept and incompetent

They are what they are, nobody goes to a Transformers movie to see a quality, award worthy film. They go to see attractive people run around while **** explodes and robots with deep voices fight each other until a city is left in ruins. And for that, Transformers 3 provides in spades. The first was a hit with series fans because it was the first chance to see a live action version, the second like others have said had a plot holier than swiss cheese, and wasted too much time with the parents making jokes and Fox acting as useless as she really is as an actress.
The third is bigger, louder, yet has a less convoluted plot that does just enough to justify action scenes in space and in Chicago. For a vapid summer action movie, it is pretty epic, and is exactly what I hoped it'd be, and enjoyed it

If you were a fan of the cartoon, then you can add "Rapist of Childhood Nostalgia" to Bay's qualifications.

I lament film-makers like Bay, as their mindless gumph is unfortunately very successful, which means the studios keep pumping all their cash into other similar ****e. And he really does have a hard-on for the US Military-Industrial complex...
