Definitely. World class player, if he comes back and finds his form then we are in big business with Sanchez, Welbeck and Giroud ahead of him

don't know where he'd fit into our squad atm. to get the best out of him, he has to play centrally behind the striker, but we haven't been using that formation all season. on the wings he's wasted, and he doesn't have the mentality to play the more defensive CM role.

Play him in the same role that Cazorla has been playing. I suppose the only trouble is that Cazorla has been playing brilliantly there for the last few games.

Good selection problem for the boss.

I think the whole way our system works is whoever plays in the 'AM 3', be they any of Sanchez, Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Oxo, all interchange positions throughout the game, so Oxo may start off on the right but equally may find himself in the centre or even on the right instead of Cazorla.

Same with Ozil, while he's best in the centre where he has a free role and no need to track back, he usually drifts into the left, or sometimes the right when there's space. Can see him and Sanchez swapping positions regularly

We've been playing with one deep midfield player and two more advanced mids for most of this season tbh!

So I'd imagine it'll be cazorla and ozil as the two advanced midfield players.

I'm with Piskie here. Great to have him back but Santi is finally hitting the form of his first season with us. It seems a shame to drop him with him playing like he is. Still, it's not like Özil will be back any time soon and, being us, we're bound to have picked up 17 more injuries before then anyway...

Ozil wouldn't actually feature in my first choice 11 at the moment, not unless Ramsey's out for a long time

I don't think the front 3 of Giroud, Welbeck or Sanchez should be broken up as things stand. Don't want to see either Santi or Mesut out wide, would rather just rotate the two in that position behind the forwards.

Shame that Chamberlain will probably find himself on the bench again right when we've probably seen his best form for us

I still believe we should sell Ozil & Ramsey before their values plummet. I also have strong doubts about Cazorla's commitment to the club...

Might as well sell Sanchez as well while we are it.

When Ozil is fit his name should be printed on the team sheet and then the rest picked around him. He is Arsenals best player along with Sanchez.

Why is it that Chelsea have managed to keep almost all of their players fit while Arsenal are still dropping like flies? Any ideas? Or is it still just "luck?"

Arsenal have been hit by a number of injuries but Wenger said he expected Mesut Ozil and Mikel Arteta to return to action in January, while Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Laurent Koscielny are due back imminently.

    <ok>

If we can keep these players fit then I think 2015 can see a vast improvement in our fortunes

I agree, no doubting Ozil's quality just struggling to see who he would dislodge at this moment. I don't think he is what we need at this moment to propel us up the league table.

I think ozil is the most talented football player at the club. For pure talent he is unrivalled by the rest of our players.

I'd have him on the team sheet in a flash. Whether it's an offensive formation with ozil and Cazorla as the two advanced midfield players or as a sole number ten with two deeper lying midfielders, setting off our counter attacks.

    He's a maestro and we've missed him.
