CHRISTMAS PERIOD/NEW YEAR can be the turning point if we can win ALL our games. My worry is that we have to break the jinx of Monday night football at home to Swansea on December 29. Fixtures are: All in the League. Fri 26 Dec 2014 - Premier League Burnley v Liverpool Mon 29 Dec 2014 - Premier League Liverpool v Swansea Thu 1 Jan 2015 - Premier League Liverpool v Leicester ALL Winnable ? Win 2 draw 1 Win 2 lose 1 Draw All. Don't know
every game is ruddy winnable, problem is we are a shambles on most of the pitch, as well as off it. be nice to get 9pts, as it might make it easier to attract some players jan window if we are in top 6 by then (is it mathematically possible havent checked?) but seems to be a lot of uncertainty as to whether we have funds or not as well. i go 5pts. Burnley and Swansea draws and win against leicester.
Swansea without Bony as well....... Burnley away is the toughest fixture there, says it all really. The fixture 'computer' (lol) was kind to you there....
Give it a rest you miserable sad bastard! If we play anything like we did against Arsenal its 9 points in the bag!!
Never mind possibly being winnable, we should be winning all three! However, we won't. I've gone for win two and lose one
Serious lack of options in the poll. I think a tough draw against Burnley, poor performance and draw against Swansea and hopefully a victory against Leicester.
Im going for three wins. If we cant beat that lot we are well and truly stuffed. Time to close the gap with Top Four.
Thought we were excellent yesterday, deserved more than we got. Anyone know what the odds might be for a top 4 finish for us?
Impossible to 1. We are a long, long way back from a lot of teams. I don't see how people think we have a chance at all. All focus should be on trying to win the Europa League, thats our only chance.
We're miles off that at the moment but if we can kick on and it's a big IF then we have to hope that it's possible.
Anywhere between 6-1 and 9-1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-4-finish Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Saints are all above is in the list too
We're a long, long way back from West Ham who sit in 4th currently. Realistically we are 5 points off the teams who have a chance of top 4. Sounds insulting to West Ham and Southampton but tough ****, they will not be finishing in the top 4 (and I doubt we will either to be fair).
The way I see it,its within our capability to put serious pressure on the top 4. We are not half way through the season yet,and there are teams above us that will drop off (West Ham,Newcastle,Swansea and Soto'n) It will be the usual suspects when we reach the end of march, weather we will have enough in the tank remains to be seen. So,what sort of odds might we be looking at for top 4?
The bookies are insulting West Ham too, they have them at odds of around 12-1 to 14-1 to get top four
