I heard a bit of booing but only a minority of people and I wasn't sure if it was the team or officials they were angry with. I think it is really hard for supporters to be encouraging for the whole of the match when it just seems there is noting to be cheerful about. When anything positive happened then the crowd did get behind the team but we all seem too be stuck in a rut lacking confidence on and off the field. One solitary goal could change that.
Interestingly, in the North Stand, a man with a laptop kept walking around. Seemed to be monitoring stuff. He had diagrams of the stadium on his screen. What was he doing? It was not possible to ask, under a barrage of people asking him to check their Facebooks instead.
I saw him in the east. He seemed to have department store security tags clipped to the top of his laptop.
From E10, there seemed to be a fair bit of booing at the end of the game. Yes it was a pretty shocking display all round, but booing isn't going to help anyone! Let's be loud and proud against Leicester, and get another victory over Blockhead!
Hang on a minute, we have been crap at home for weeks now apart from a decent spell against Spurs. Today the midfield three let the whole team down, just not good enough how Bruce can say Ramirez did well baffles me. Meyler isn't Prem standard at all. Livermore is supposed to be one of our better players who should be dragging the players up to his higher standards but he looks half arsed. Jesus give us Ash back too shake these so called stars up and show them what its all about the there is no passion or bottle out there on the pitch at the minute.
Agreed. Plenty of effort. Just a severe lack of quality, possibly a lack of confidence (?) and lack of ideas.
Remember in the FA cup run how we had a fantastic team spirit, they were a tight knit bunch who all played for each other, everyone seemed happy to be here. I get the feeling that's not the case now. Things are not right for some reason. Must add that we seem to be without a leader as well. Curtis is not rallying the troops like Ash used to.
I have never & will never boo at a football match (OK well maybe an opposition player) but am actually grateful that I now have to miss a few games due to back surgery
