1. McGregor 2. Robertson, 3 Aluko - and as for the worst 3 - 1 Livermore 2 Meyler and 3 Bruce - all three can't control the ball and seem to think they're supposed to pass to the opposition
Robbo was ****. If you're agreeing with the MOTM vote then you're in trouble. He ran the ball into touch FFS. Elmo was head and shoulders above anyone in that team today. Won every header. The only one who had owt about him. Maguire. Bit industrial at times but had a pasir of bollocks on him and looked to take some responsibility. Jake take note. Greegsy. Got to for the save from Uncle Fester. Some cowards on that pitch today. Worst game Jelavic has had but he should still have been left on and Hernandez took off. Typical Hull city we only go and sign the only two weak as piss Uruguayan's in history.
What in god's name were you watching?! He was the only one who actually gave it a good go in the first half, almost scored a wonder goal and until Aluko came on, was the only player (except Elmo in a few cases) to run forward with the ball AND create some sort of chance.
1. McGregor 2. Elmo. Honourable mentions at a push for Aluko and Robertson for at least having a go. What a **** afternoon watching 'football'.
He didnt though did he. He didnt hit the ****ing target from 12 yards. He was running into trouble constantly second half and having the ball taken off him. How many good crosses did they put in second half down his side. Plenty. Aluko was ****ing awful. Get him away from the pitch he is ****. Truly ****ing ****.
We must have very different views on football, as Robertson was the only one in the first 60 minutes who ran with the ball, he wasn't frightened to lose the ball he wasn't frightened to take a man on. Today we needed more people to take a risk far to often we looked backwards and thought lets play the safe ball. Being brave isn't about getting stuck in, it's about having the balls to do something on the ball and take a risk and we just don't do that. Elmo won a few headers, i agree but he was scared to beat a man the one time he did he put a cracking ball in but that should of been his blueprint for the rest of the game but it wasn't. Also to discuss your point above, Robertson was marking two men Elmo often had Chester come across and help where as Robertson was left on his own as Ramirez couldn't track back for toffee despite trying.
While Robbo gave it away and made the wrong choices constantly. Their winger went by him as if he wasnt there in the second half.
I will watch it again later on, but i can very rarely remember him doing that. My point is though at least he tried something..... the wrong choice was to pass it backwards and do nothing. I agree at times you need to keep possession but surely someone has to produce an end product at least he tried. He made a great chance in the first half put some cracking crosses in the second half. And what do you want Robertson to do when he had their full back and the winger attacking him... I also think most people on this thread clearly disagree with you to...
1. Robertson 2. Elmo 3. Aluko and an honourable mention for Maguire. Looked the part when he came on. If Davies is out he deserves a chance ahead of Bruce and McShane for the upcoming games.
1. McGregor 2. Maguire 3. Davies Robertson showed some endeavour but had no end product, he was also shocking in defence yet again. Jelavic and Hernandez worked hard but nothing really came off. The midfield was just dire though, Livermore looked lost, Myler was hopelessly out of his depth, Aluko was poor, Gaston tried but didn't stand much of a chance with the jokers around him.
Routledge Shelvey Williams OK, then... Elmo McGregor Robertson (did a lot right and a lot wrong - on another day not good enough for a MoM top 3, but this was one of those days) I thought Meyler was particularly poor yesterday. He tries, but so often he fails.
