Robertson - a little naïve at times but generally outstanding, best by far Elmo - looks great on the right, and decent balls into the box. Usually. McGregor - Could do nothing with the goal, and a couple of decent saves could have earned us a point. Honourable mentions - McGuire(spelling?) looked decent, Clattenberg - Barely noticed him, although this was probably the easiest game he's had all season.
1. Robertson 2. McGregor 3. Maguire Aluko played well when he came on, so he just misses out. Livermore was utter garbage and I'm glad he's banned for the game against Sunderland. I'd rather Alex Bruce play in midfield instead of Livermore at the moment. Meyler, Chester and Ramirez played s**t as well.
Robertson Livermore (some poor touches at times but he did at least push forwards with some urgency on occasions) Maguire - only on for a short while but did reasonably well. Another very frustrating afternoon with some very poor individual performances and an apparent lack of intent to push forwards and actually sustain an attack.
Robertson - the only player who seemed to be willing to run towards their goal with intent Macgregor - kept the score respectful again Maguire - I would have no problems putting him in ahead of mcshane
Give it to Shagger for keeping us in it. Swansea should've scored more than just the one today. Jelavic had a go- fair play to him for showing some effort. Nearly scored with a crakcing header & brought a good save.
I thought Maguire was the best player on the pitch when he came on, Hernandez ineffective and Ramirez shirks all tackles and challenges and all in all pretty poor.
Robertson Maguire McGregor Found it hard to put Aluko in there, as I thought he looked threatening when he came on. I was extremely disappointed with Ramirez today, and Livermore looks a shadow of his former self.
1....Robertson...all day long.... 2........Elmo, tried his best 3...............Livermore, best of the remainder. You can see why Saints, shipped out Gaston..Too lightweight for the prem and final ball is usually over hit. Neat player but not good enough...
Robertson McGregor Maguire I only put Maguire there as the rest of them where dire, i didn't think Chester was to bad after the first 15 minutes. Robertson and McGregor where the only decent one's in my eyes.
