Although i will have half a mind on the game today and i have posted my prediction, today for the first time in over 40 years QPR are not my priority, Yesterday Mrs Turkish suffered a stroke and today after a second MRI we will find out the extent of the damage and if the work done in the first crucial 4 hours was a success. Last night at The hospital she was communicating through speech, she has no facial droop and can move all her limbs correctly, but her grasp on things was not as it should be, although she could remember names etc and and recognise faces she had trouble remembering who they were in her life hopefully this will return in time. As the doctor explained to me in lay-mans terms it is an old computer trying to re-boot itself and maybe some of its internal logic has been lost and may never be recoverable but only time will tell. So hopefully the lads can win and win well today to leave me to work on other things and not have to think about the next game and its ramifications thus leaving my find fully focused on the other love of my life Mrs Turkish.
Terrible news at this time of year - wishing you all the best for her speedy recovery mate, will be thinking of you both
Here's hoping she makes a full recovery quickly, and that this episode is the last trouble she has in that regard.
Well that certainly puts things in perspective and makes you realise what's really important in our lives Turkish. I wish you and your wife all the best. From what you've stated it seems that she has already made significant steps in a short space of time towards her recovery. Let's hope that continues. Look after yourself mate.
