Ascot must be very disappointed that the 2 Graded races, on the card, have attracted just 4 and 5 runners but to cushion the blow for them I’ll nominate one in each heat. Although EMERGING TALENT (1.55) hasn’t won either of his hurdle races to date he’s put up a pair of very decent efforts in just going down to Shelford (subsequently won a Grade 3) and then Mr Henderson’s Vyta Du Roc in a Grade 2 (the latter has gone on to oblige, under a penalty, in another Grade 2). I think those efforts are the pick of the formlines in this race and the ‘Brucie Bonus’ is that Emerging Talent will be receiving weight all round. Furthermore, Mr Nicholls knows how to win this heat having won it last year with Irving. In the Graded novice chase I can’t wait to see the fencing bow of JOSSES HILL (2.30). An exceptional novice hurdler last term he finished runner-up in the Tolworth and Supreme Novices before turning a Grade 2 at the Grand National meet into a procession. Mr Henderson has opted to go over the big ‘uns, rather than remain over hurdles, with this one and that is a huge tip in itself. Josses Hill receives weight from creditable opponents in Dunraven Storm and Ptit Zig plus again it is a race the stable target having won the prize with no less than Simonsig in ’12. Good luck all.
Only in the one race. I think the others in the 1.55 will really struggle to give weight to Emerging Talent. Think his 2 efforts this term are very solid.
3.40 Ascot- Simon Sqiurrel- No Price Yet Am ofF to ascot courtesy of some free tickets from Skybet! Really looking forward too seeing him running again tomorrow - won on soft ground with some style for his old connections, new yard and that should bring out some more improvement which the form of that race is working out well anyway but will be hard to bet if in the same form
A simple way of working out a flat horses potential mark over hurdles is to add 45lbs to the flat mark. It's not always correct but more often than not it's a fair way to set realistic expectations. With that in mind, and given Stuart Kittow is a fraud as a NH trainer, It could be significant that the selection has made a recent move from the aforementioned trainer to a certain Grand National winning trainer who's built his reputation on improving cast offs and sellers. 12.10 Uttoxeter Significant Move 7/2
Really like the look of Yanworth in this - beat Nicholls' well regarded Urubu D'irlande a shade cosily and that franked the form by turning over Henderson's highly rated Gaitway. Looks a cracking race with 9 last time out winners taking part !!
Apart from the nicholls horse the form does look a bit shallow especially eoth his 3runner race lto! Altho unproven does look likely! Nichols knows how to get a bumper horse ready Does look a very intriguing race that may throw up some future festival winners maybe!
Dundalk 7:10 - Park Rebel is strongly fancied @ 9/4 Dundalk 7:40 - Your Pal Tal is fancied @ 4/1 Smaller bets are So Sensible in the 6:40 who should run well @ 4/1 and Moonmeister in the 8:40 @ 4/1.
Sorry about all the horses posted, i know it probably looks stupid as 5 in one day is alot but I just pass on whatever horses i get emailed to me. I dont normaly play on multis's but i will today sure, why not . I have also had larger bets on the 710 and 740 in dundalk and Southwell horse.
Going with Paddy on a Lucky 31,also tidy dabble on Raktiman 5/1 win in the 1:45 @ Uttoxeter. Good luck all.Happy betting.
I'm with Paddy too small stakes lucky 31 am also on Desilvano 5/1 to upset the favourite in the first at Acscot and Pengo's Boy 25/1 in the last
2 longer priced ones e/w against the field in the cracking bumper at Ascot - Charlie Longsdon's Midnight Shot and Colin Tizzard's Thistlecrack. Both ridden by claimers (which can be decisive in this type of event) and both very impressive last time out with form that stacks up.
There are lots of dead cert bets around to add into your accumulator bets over next few days - darts - peter wright, james wade, dave chisnell - impossible to oppose. Football - Benfica, Porto, Hearts and PSV Eindhoven - all at home to relegation fodder - impossible to oppose. Add these into your horsey bets to enhance returns.
Add my 7 tips in with a 7-2 horse bet and you've got yourself about an 8-1 bet. Great way to make some christmas dosh.
