Good research Ellewoods. Very convincing. Is it quiet down on the farm today? Please can you now find two other teams definitely finishing below us.
Hmm I can I suppose if you really want me to. It has been a slow day actually as I mainly went to the feed store and purchased a lot of fencing and posts to finish a large goat pasture. There was some excitement when a red tailed hawk attacked my chickens but luckily they all survived just one slightly injured with a ton of its feathers missing.
The training ground is almost Champions League standard, the stadium is filled weekly, the academy is Grade 1, we're in line with FFP, we've a young and talented squad who all play for the manager and we're in the Premier League. None of that existed at Leicester City before Nigel Pearson. Thanks for your concern, but we'll be fine. Even if we do go down, does it matter? We've spent less than a lot of Championship clubs so it's not like we've gambled.
OK I am typing one up an analysis now. By the way this is a lot of work I have found at least one other so far.
My guess is that you're someone who sees the results and think "Oh, Leicester haven't won again". Well we should have beaten the Champions in our last game. Just shows, don't it? Our results aren't reflecting in our performances, which isn't the case up in Hull, is it? So i'd worry about your own club mate. How many millions did you spend in the Summer? Bruce is no doubt answering his phone calls from the Allams anxiously.
Unfortunately you're down already, stats don't lie . You may have the best training ground , academy, pies, crowds etc etc but you don't have enough points, plain and simple and you're current manager will not get you out of that. Another season in the championship beckons and we may be joining you.
I'm sure Bruce is worried. I also have watched every game of yours this season, being in the US I have every single game available to me. But you do miss understand Sir, I am not saying you will be in the bottom 3 at the end of the season (im not going to do an entire season projection to much variances there would naturally occur). I am only saying that your assertion that soon things are going to change are not based off your current/past performances and your future fixtures. If I was your owner I actually wouldnt fire Pearson, in fact I would rarely fire a coach. I am against all this firing people constantly nonsense. At least let a person finish out their contract.
No, none of that existed before your owners. What, is Pearson funding the Academy, training ground and patrons tickets on the weekend? If he was sacked would any of those change? No.
Pearson will go first, but with our owner 12-1 probably good odds on Bruce unfortunate as that would be. He got rid of Barmby with no qualms at all
Seems a bit arrogant of us to be talking down Leicesters chances when they're only a place below us and we've spent a lot more. One thing though Andy - its not true that only Leicester have been unlucky with results not reflecting performamces. That's one of the big things in this league. No one's a terrible side but the better sides are more clinical and punish you. That's the same for all of us around the bottom. The majority of teams, including us, feel the same way in that a good performance doesn't come close to guaranteeing a result. We played well against Chelsea and lost 2-0. In fact we nearly always play well against the big sides and nearly always still lose.
It foolish to run down the fixtures and pin point games you wont get points from and games that you will , nothing is guaranteed in football and no other team has a devine right to beat another regardless of how much your squad cost etc. Us Hull City supporters know from past experiences that the lesser clubs can pull the odd result out against all the odds.
You've still got to listen to that bellend whinging on after every game though. Every silver lining, and all that.
Thats precisely why i dont think it will be Irvine, as that would mean the board admitting they got it wrong. Pearson was appointed to do one thing, get them promoted, and unless they finished in the top 8 this season id expect him to get sacked and someone high profile come in. Capello.
What does that even mean? There is no standard for a training ground that a team has to have before it makes the UCL you know? There are plenty of poor teams with **** facilities that play in it every single year. Or is it a quote that someone gave that you just regurgitated without thinking for yourself? Yes it does show, it shows that you got zero points when "playing well". Well you can do that as much as you want all season and it wont do you much good.
More like Half-time, an announcement coming up on the scoreboard that Allam was taking over as manager of Hull Tigers indefinitely.
