The weekend fixture see's Leeds on the road at nearby Nottingham Forest for what could prove to be another tough game. Both teams have been slapped with a transfer embargo following some dodgy financial reports, though Forest did just bag the Skybet £250k transfer fund. Last weekend saw a disappointing loss to Fulham, who subsequently climbed above Leeds in the table - the Whites now sitting in 19th going into this one. Forest have lost some of their excellent early season form, but are still hanging in the top ten, and come into this one in better form (not difficult) than Leeds. They have only managed draws in their last two and must be looking at this one as a way of getting back on track in front of their own fans. Historically Leeds have a slight edge, though in recent meetings Forest have won the last 3, and won 4 of the last 6 meetings. With confidence on the wane around the Leeds camp, something needs to happen here to recapture the joy that followed that glorious (fluke) win against Derby. Nottm Forest Wins 25 Draws 13 Leeds Wins 28

Nottm Forest Form Leeds Form Last Meeting

D 0 - 0 Rotherham

D 1 - 1 Charlton

L 2 - 1 Birmingham

W 0 - 3 Wolves

W 2 - 1 Norwich

Fulham 0 - 1 L

Ipswich 4 - 1 L

Derby 2 - 0 W

Blackburn 2 - 1 L

Blackpool 3 - 1 W

 0 - 2 Nottm Forest Win Elland Road 21/04/14

Nottm Forest 9th (W7 D9 L5) +5 Goals 30pts Leeds 19th (W6 D5 L10) -7 Goals 23pts

Nottm Forest Top Scorers

Britt Asombalonga 12

Michail Antonio 9

Matty Fryatt 4

Leeds Top Scorers

Mirco Antenucci 8

Souleymane Doukara 5

Alex Mowatt 4

Team News Damned's Starting XI

Nottm Forest please log in to view this image Chris Cohen (Injured) please log in to view this image Andrew Reid (Injured) Forest could make a number of changes with the likes of Chris Burke, Ben Osborn, Tom Ince and Jack Hunt returning. The fact of the matter (in my eyes) is that Forest are the better team, and they are on better form. That should carry them through this encounter. Redfearn has to do something with the team, because the tried and tested is giving us the same result every week. The wrong result. For my team prediction, I've stuck with Pearce at the back assuming Bellusci is missing out again. My midfield 3 of Bianchi, Mowatt, and Cook gives me worries about defensive strength and cover, but it does allow for Sharp to come in up front and maybe push Antenucci and Doukara into the channels. Sorry Adryan. We all know that we are sorely lacking some pace and width, but we have to make the best of what we've got at the moment, and I think we just need a bit of a refresh. The diamond isn't working, because we don't have a player like Raheem Sterling to have free roam between Sturridge and Suarez. Personnel matters you see, look how poorly Liverpool have done without those too ahead of the diamond.

Have Your Say Will we head into the Christmas week on the back of a win? Could this be our second away win of the season. We need a better balanced side. Start with Montenegro. Sacrifice one of our midfielders. What do we have to lose?
Fine thread. Difficut to find positives at the moment. For me, we need a draw or win, coupled with much better performances. Otherwise, I may be forced to start believing the bulk of our squad arent up to the job. However, willing to give them a chance or two more
Ellands XI -------------------Silvestri------------------- Beradi-----Cooper---del Fabro-----Warnock ------------Adryan-----Mowatt--------------- Byram-----------------------------Montenegro ------------Antenucci-------Doukara----------
Anybody disagree with my starting XI I have chosen Doukara over Sharp as he can hold the ball up a little. Montenegro likes to get forward into the box, and has an eye for goal. Bianci does nothing for me, I'd drop him
Not a fan of Mowatt, Adryan as a midfield two. Might as well just play them as support strikers and let the other team have the midfield. Other than that, I'd be quite happy to see that sort of experiment. I'd go Bianchi for Adryan, Sharp for Doukara though.
Can't see us getting anything from this one but a great match day thread once again. I can only see one win on Boxing day for us in the next 5 games and believe we could be just about in the bottom three by the time we play Birmingham mid January I would just go with the one striker, a kind of 4-3-2-1 - Just like Redfearn I am running out of ideas and accepting the quality just isn't there.
If we don't win the midfield battle by closing down, hassling the opposition, creating chances and helping out the defence, it won't matter who we play up front or at the back, we'll lose, simple as, and lose comfortably. 3-0 Forest
I'd like to see this -------------------Silvestri------------------- Byram-----Cooper---del Fabro-----Warnock ------------Austin-----Bianci------------------ Doukara-----------------------------Montenegro -------------------Adryan------------------------ ------------------Antenucci---------------------- When the opposition have it, the wingers drop back to make it 4-4-1-1 when we go forwards it turns into 4-2-2-1-1 with the wingers pushing up to support Adryan as the playmaker, so then it's a 4-2-3-1 and when it's in the opposition box it's 4-2-1-3. Means the wingers have a lot of running around mind you.
Could be worse at least ours haven't started wearing wigs yet. Did you see this from last night? Wtf....
Evening all. Thinkt its time for Del Fabro, Montenegro & Sharp all to start. If possible, I also think Austin might want to start to add some muscle to the midfield. But some on here have suggested he may have had a falling out with Redders. So who knows? I think we have a chance, but Adryan has to have a good game, as do the rest of the team. Hoping for a 2-1, but may have to settle for a draw
Evening Boggers. Agree we need change. My only worry is everyone clambering for Montenegro and del Fabro to start and nobody has seen them in serious first team action. They may well be useless for all we know but I suppose only one way to find out
