    Barring any new problems, Mick is hoping to move over to the new site very soon; possibly this weekend.

    Hopefully you have all familiarised yourselves with the test site and will be happy with the move. There will, of course, be a further announcement when the conversion date becomes definite.

    Any questions/comments can be posted below.

    Thanks very much Ron. Looking at the test site I much prefer the new server. Looks and feels better on all devices, miles better on mobile devices too which I would be more inclined to use. I'm only new here so my opinion wouldn't matter much but well done. Thumbs up from me :)

    Can't take any credit for the site Paddy. It's built by Xenforo and paid for by Mick (our site owner). He does all the conversions and techie stuff. I merely help with the testing and communicate what's going on. And everyone's opinion is valuable<cheers>

    Clicking on the WELCOME TO THE TEST SITE link above will take you to the latest version. It was created from a back up of the live site around 1.20pm Wednesday 17th Dec, so the last post on the Wednesday Daily Thread was Smokey's at 13.18pm

    The Forum name will be the same and I imagine the site name will be the same (ie not 606).

    I'm not sure what the old site (this one) will be called, or if it will be available, after the live conversion. I would imagine it will be renamed and available in the event of queries. I'll find out
