Same injury. Recurrence. been brought back to early. Hardly panic stations over the lads fitness. There's players in the senior squad with a worse injury record, should they not be selected because of injuries too? I'd give the lad a blast as soon as he's fit enough. He's got more attacking intent in his little finger than all our present attacking 5 have been showing put together.
I usually go for Wes Brown, my thinking is that he's got to get on the end of one of them corners. Obviously i've never won owt.
Here's a STAT - Lee Cattermole has more PL goals for Sunderland than Jozy Altidore! If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about Altidore than I'm not sure what does. I personally thought he did OK at the weekend for the first 46 minutes but when he missed that sitter his game went to **** and he was totally ineffective second half. Nice touches and good running in the first half. I wouldn';t start him on Sunday personally but that's not my decision to make
However, when Fletcher came on versus West Ham he had a shot on target that nearly surprised their gk and set up a good chance for Whicham. Fletcher is just much more dangerous to the opponents than Altidore.
Well he would have lost you a lot of fivers if you backed him in every game. However, good luck with it, even though I doubt he will be starting the game.
Bloody hell, a bloke with one goal in 42 is 7/2 as someone on an earlier thread pointed out Lee CATTERMOLE has a better scoring record. Maybe I should back Mags player I dislike the most, Steven Taylor, I don't even like to look at him he looks so much like a tosser.
Couldn't be any worse than the money I've lost on Wes Brown and I reckon you might be wrong mate, Gus likes Altidore at the minute and he just might be out to prove a point.
