i reckon he will be dodging about like one of them magnetic footballers when you turned the stick upside down under the pitch(older posters will remember)
He definitely won't start the game and if he did (which he won't) Fletcher will be fuming and thinking I must be better than him.

proper tot in the navy// yes its still made mate After the British Navy adopted its daily ration of a half pint of 160 proof rum, called a 'tot', the naval rum connection spread, and from the 1730's a thriving export trade developed. Wood's 100 is one such rum, originating from what was known as British Guyana in South America. It has been produced in the same way for over 150 years and acquired by Wm Grant & Sons in October 2002. Distilled at The Diamond Distillery, Guyana. It is produced using a combination of spirit made in both pot and continuous stills, from the finest sugar cane grown along the banks of the River Demerara. It is matured for 1.5 to 3 years in oak before being blended. The sugar cane produced by this enormous life-giving river makes the sweetest sugar cane in the Caribbean
Aye it was always a "tot". Thanks for the info mate. Think I might invest in a bottle. Got to be nearly 50 years since me and me old pals discovered that stuff. Bring back some memories (or fill in some of the missing ones due to over indulgence) Happy days, brilliant, not a care in the world. Most of us are still alive though I`m not sure how.
Appleton Estate VX, or Special, I only drink it after Xmas these days and have it in a separate glass to my coke, accompanied with a banana in a brown role with plenty of demerera. Ummm
