Oh I'm not blaming them, as you say I have definitely been digging away at them this season, just annoying that it is now coming back again :D

Still I never got as caught up as others with talk of top 4 etc just hope we can finish above Everton as my mate gave me 7/2 on it just before the Arsenal game.

We need to get that fire walker back...part of the problem is confidence (which just gets worse as the number of defeats go up). It's not that we've had no chances, both Clyne and JWP have nearly scored recently and then there is Tadic's missed pen. Anyone got any hot coals?

Yes indeed - pales into insignificance to the school shooting in Pakistan yesterday! Always something in the news that puts Saints into context.

Has anyone any idea how the team travelled back home? I saw no evidence of a charter flight back into Southampton or Hurn yesterday or today?

Probably made to walk...it was the fans that needed a flight home.

They should reimburse the fans the price of the ticket. It was a disgrace

Why? We lost 1-0, it's not like you had to sit through an 8-0 drubbing.

This recent phenomenon of demanding refunds for poor performances is embarrassing at best.

Fair play to each and every one of the 4000 fans that travelled all that way for a midweek game but let's not be stupid here.

It's done you a favour, personally I don't think you have enough squad depth to chase league and cup. For the main you have played well, you played well enough to get something out of the Man Utd and arsenal games, but sometimes the luck isn't there. This was always going to be a tough period for your squad to cope with, lots of big games in quick succession, the Burnley defeat has to hurt though, that was th game you really shoud have got three points from.

Demanding? You have a right to a certain standard when you pay for a ticket, that was not achieved. 10 + hours spent on a coach and taking time off work allows the right to raise the question. I couldn't give a **** for the money but I bet it would help some and also show that the players cared. Pittance to them. I would suggest that you wind your neck in, embarrassing phenomenon that you are

I really do agree with RK when he said that the margin between winning and loosing can be very small. It was clear from the beginning that Pelle's conversion rate isnt very good and he needs alot of attempts to score and he does. Even in the Sunderland game he should have had more than two goals as he had at least two more excellent chances but he missed them. Mane looks extremely over-priced and I dont think we will miss him when he goes of in a months time to play for his country. Long to me was always a strange buy, as he is again somebody who has a poor conversion rate and wasnt exactly cheap. Mayuka hardly warrants comment.

We spent £25m on Mane, Mayuka and Long and I think they have only scored 2-3 in the PL this season. In fact Mane looks more likely to be sent off than score!!!!

When we beat Sunderland 8-0, and that seems a long time ago now, I really thought it was a strange result. They gifted us some goals but I actually thought, certainly for the 1st half at least that they were the better team and didnt deserve to be 3 goals behind.

I also remember thinking 'we seem to be getting all of our luck in one game and I hope this doesn't come back to bite us'? I wish then that maybe we saved 6 of the goals for some of the other games. Oh how I wish we had!!!

This is where you are wrong ... you don't.

There is no written contract that the team must play a certain standard of football much in the same way that there's no such rule for the quality of a film shown in a cinema.

There have been a few cases where players from a team have refunded fans after a heavy loss but despite our poor performance, we only lost by one goal.

We are unfortunately victims of our own success; with great performances come great expectations and I think some fans have forgotten what it feels like to lose.
