Sid the tosser. - fine He's sill a ***** ****** though. - not fine You just don't want to admit it. - see below
Look Billy, no-one's asking you to do anything except not generalize in the offensive way you do and offending decent Muslim folk is entirely unnecessary. I don't know anything about Mohammed, so if you want to verify what you said fine, fire away. I am not taking it as read, though. No-one's asking you to like Islam, Muslims, religion generally or anything else and if you want to say it's all nonsense, that is your opinion. But why come out with all the bile because of the actions of the nutter wing of their religion? Your comments on the other thread were inexcusable and I deleted them anarl. And before you bitch on about not giving a ****, etc. etc. I've seen your toys leave the pram fast enough when it's something you hold dear. Our paddy mag Mr Haack got you going big time and if you can't take offense don't bloody well give it.
http://www.spectator.co.uk/features/9303602/is-britain-hardening-its-heart-against-muslims/ Decent read, well, I thought it was.
I sort of/kind of disagree with your first comment, personally I don't think we should make any kids read about any religion unless they choose to do so... What's to say a child cannot learn these lessons from any book, lol an example would be kids can learn about good and bad from reading Harry Potter just as much as they can from the bible and perhaps even without some of the ancient crap that was relevant at the time IE don't be gay or you will burn in hell. I also think it is wrong to enter a child into a religion, not only muslim but christianity as they are not old enough to understand anything about it. Also I think everyone should sit back and remember the world is a stage, could this in fact be a set up together with the other recent terrorist attacks? Afterall a lot of countries are discussing pulling out of the middle east, with all the recent activity will these decisions be reconsidered?
I still think religion should be taught in schools, otherwise kids will simply grow up ignorant. It's not going to stop them making their own minds up, though, which is the way it should be, but knowing about it will stop them jumping to conclusions when anybody starts talking about a particular bunch of people.
There are no lessons to be learned from the Quran, I was saying they would be able to form their own opinions on how the Quran should be interpreted. That's the main issue with all religion, how dumb ****s are choosing to interpret script that does not stand the test of time. Without knowing what the Quran says, you're just fighting against something you know nothing about. Knowledge is power, and that's the reason I agree with the policy currently to educate kids on all religious matters that are relevant to them. Close your eyes and ears to a religion and you find yourself in an ignorant position. You're right, it's wrong to enter any human being into a religion regardless of age, because it's beyond comprehension scientifically. Essentially, the world is awash with people who have a completely irrational fear, that governs their entire existence, a fear of a higher being that does not and has never existed. I'm not sure what your last sentence is getting at, I would like terrorism to be dealt with, if that means western intervention then so be it, they are murdering too many people over in that part of the world to sit back and watch allowing it to happen, a dangerous country full of terrorists only serves as a plausible reason for seeking refuge abroad. I'd rather they stayed where they were if I'm brutally honest.
I have no problem with religion being taught at school as long as the children being taught are informed that they is subjective and fictitious.
You can't try state that all religion is fictitious in school mate. Horrifically insensitive to people's beliefs. The best bet is to teach them all of it or none of it in my eyes. And if they do teach all of it that should include the atheist religion and a religion it most definitely is; based upon it's own texts and idols, only it's fact based whereas traditional religions rely on a incomprehensible leap of faith. Teach them everything and they can make a judgement for themselves. I think religion should be left out of schools personally. We're not a religious country and it gives people reason to kick off and complain. indiscriminately get religion out of schools along with it's jewellery, it's clothing, it's messages... all of it.
So let us get this straight, the taliban have killed 132 children who were being indoctrinated into the enlightenment of islamic fundamentalism within a military orchestrated schooling facility? Something not quite right with this story.
Pakistan took 200 Taliban militants out of jail yesterday and held a mass hanging session in revenge for the school attack.
doesn't mention 200 hangings http://rt.com/news/216243-pakistan-taliban-death-penalty/ below site reports that An estimated 8,000 prisoners are on death row across Pakistan, according to the Interior Ministry, and nearly 30 per cent on terrorism charges so the hangings could exceed 200 as the moratorium on the death penalty has been lifted http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/...convicted-militants-wake-school-massacre.html complete sham that states 'Islam being the religion of peace'
Will try n find where I've read it diddles. I have however got other priorities today you understand.
