Yes Happy our history is depressing but its ours, it belongs to us. It didn't belong to Assem Allam when he bought the club for a quid.

Part of me hopes he hasn't sold the club and he remains the owner as he faces the same problems Bartlett faced, does he stick or twist, does he spend another £15 million in January to try and keep us in the Premier League? If we stays we'll see what he's made of.

If the rumours are true and he sells in January for anything like £50 million he will have taken more out of the club then he lent. He's a successful businessman and will make his money when its sold, as he's said before.

The name change had nothing to do with daring to dream but everything to do with Hull City Council. He was prepared to sell our name for less than Alex Bruce earns in a year. The man may be rich but he acts like a spoilt three year old.

If he sells us to a con-man he'll be remembered for that. If he sells us to an owner that takes us to the next level he'll hardly be remembered at all.

    Interesting times for us Tigers.

I am, as you know, a highly trained secret agent working for ISIS. Although I did once pretend to be an altar boy as part of a very elaborate honey pot. It er, didn't end well for me. Or, in retrospect, the Catholic Church. Or the Cuban drug cartel operating out of the diasis.

Do you carry a plastic bag, two oranges and a length of nylon cord? Do you fit snugly into a suitcase? I never knew you are a secret agent, but that's good, isn't it? Don't worry, your secret's safe, we won't tell a soul. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I carry a side arm, plus another gun that I wear in my pants. I also have a fountain pen that is really a syringe that injects a neuro toxin. But the cap slips off for like, no reason.

I will always remember Mr Allam as the man that saved the Club from extinction when nobody else would and then took it on to heights fans of my era could only dream of with countless millions of his own money.

No amount propaganda will alter that no matter how much little people like Gretton and his band dismiss and distort.

it's not worth reading such ill-informed garbage as this. your understanding of your fellow supporters and even ot your fellow (i assume) humans is poor. i can't be bothered to reply to any of your points other than to say they were all of the level of a wum with a low i.q.

I mentioned that HCFC had been sold to an American person/ group the last time that this 'new owner' was a hot topic. Bit of a techno-phoebe so struggling to find that post!

All rather depends on your definition of "Countless Millions" and "Heights".

Needler undoubtedly spent a fortune on us but achieved comparatively little and his son then oversaw a massive decline in the club. Don Robinson had great influence but achieved less with a great feeling of togetherness rather than hard cash. Adam Pearson achieved huge advances but risked little of his own money as he didn't have any.

See, that's what I don't understand about you and your ilk. Our history was never going anywhere, least of all away. It's is what it is and will always be. Even if we were wound down and deleted entirely in the present, our history would be the same. Changing the name, moving stadium, new crest, none of that removes or changes our history, it merely adds to it.

It's sad that even when he sells you'll still blame him F I r anything bad. Ironically suggesting he acts like a spoilt 3 year old.

Even selling and going he can't do owt right for some of you. Sad times.

So, East Yorkshire Tigers playing at Melton in a red kit would find you there supporting them would it?

Pearson and Needler took us forward leaps and bounds off the pitch. Assem Allam is now holding us back because a petty personal dispute is more important to him than taking the club forward. He's admitted as much.

People keep crediting Allam with on pitch achievements as if he's picked the team but that's really clutching at straws. It's the equivalent of saying Russell Bartlett won us the Wembley playoff final.

Allam is a liar, a cheat and his treatment of the likes of Barmby and Andy Dawson was disgraceful. He continues to insult and taunt the fans on a regular basis and he's attempted to turn the fanbase against itself, and in fact succeeded with some of the daft lads. He's made it a taboo topic to use our own name or to sing City songs. He's convinced his followers that they must turn against some of the real heroes from our past.

And all of that isn't even for the amount of money Alex Bruce gets in a year, it's for no money at all.

And there's the standard Happy get-out clause again; if snookered by own poor argument, just give someone a good telling off, trying hard to make it seem justified.
