Jeez, this gets worse the more you delve into it...(well, I say 'delve', I mean of course, 'glance at NUFC.COM', but hey...)

Our record at this stage is awful, with just a single success - and even that came via an own goal! Our ONLY ever goal in QF stages!

NUFC - League Cup Quarter Final Record:

    1974/75 Chester City (h) drew 0-0
    1974/75 Chester City (a) lost 0-1
    1975/76 Notts County (h) won 1-0
    1995/96 Arsenal (a) lost 0-2
    1997/98 Liverpool (h) lost 0-2
    2001/02 Chelsea (a) lost 0-1
    2006/07 Chelsea (h) lost 0-1

It MUST be time for a change! Plllleeeeeeeaaaaaasse

    Squad:

Moussa Sissoko and Steven Taylor are both available after serving one match suspensions against Arsenal, but Daryl Janmaat is now banned.

No new faces back from injury, with messrs De Jong, Santon, Aarons, Obertan, Krul, Elliot and Ryan Taylor all still sidelined.

I fancy Bournemouth to turn them over. I also fancy us against Spurs, setting up a Bournemouth v Newcastle semi-final and us to lose over two legs.

I think every football fan, outside the red half of Liverpool, would love to see this!

Could give the winners of this a very good chance of getting to Wembley. Southampton at Sheffield United could be an upset.

Yeah, tricky tie that. Southampton not quite as hot as they were earlier in the season.

You'd expect Chelsea to beat Derby comfortably, but again, it's away and Derby riding high in the Championship.

All four games up for grabs?

    Semi-finalists.....

    Newcastle
    Bournemouth
    Sheffield United
    Derby

I said above we'd lose to Bournemouth if we get through. Revising my opinion of it's that line up....we really have no bloody excuse if we don't win the whole thing!

I reckon Derby, Sheff u and Bournemouth will get through, so the Spurs game is bigger than the derby which there is nowt at stake this season, neither of us will go down.

At least he has a glass. Mrtiote's glass was taken away from him in case he caused any damage with it.

With Sheffield Utd through we have to go for this now, definitely our best shot at silverware in a while.

Anyone else going tonight I for 1 can't wait! I say this but as soon as gouffran starts and randomly drifts into the middle stood next to 1 of our own midfielders I will be regretting this choice

Tooted and Cisse out by the looks of things, both struggling to make Sunday too.

My hope is starting to fade, we just have too many players missing.
