The worst bit about it is I can't even remember us having a good goal scoring opportunity.

Come back after you've beaten Newcastle tomorrow. Or not...

And shockingly it was around the same time of the season, AND after a great start. I wonder why this could be....

A decent clear out is needed in January. Sell mane and mayuka. In fact after tonight's and saturdays performance I wouldn't be too upset if we replaced all of them!

Extending that run to 12 games, it read DLWLLLDDLWLL. It finally ended with a win in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Game one was on Nov 2. Game 12 was on Jan 1. Game 4 (the start of the nine game run) was on Nov 23.

    All sounds quite familiar.

Having a small squad isn't a excuse it has been a fact since we have been back in the Prem. No one is making a excuse for the poor games, we just haven't got a big enough squad to chance things.

I was thinking earlier, another clear out and rebuild along the same lines as last summer might do the trick!

Because getting really angry over a football match isn't worth it in the grand scheme of things?

You clearly haven't been supporting this side for very long at all if that's the case

I am more concerned about the knock on to Saturday with the suspensions. If we had lost to Arsenal in the previous round nobody would have been surprised. If we had not made such a fantastic start and had more mixed results keeping us around our present league position, it wouldn't feel so bad , would it.
This was just another Tranmere moment. Seen it all before, won't be the last time, neither.

which would be all well and good if many of the players we signed to supplement the first team, often at record or level record fees, didn't seem incapable of making a claim for a first team spot or perform against league one teams.

today Targett and Gardos are the only players who have not been close to first team selection this season.

Most managers with small squads recognise that players will get tired and play second string sides in the League Cup.

5 yellows and a red should get us further measures from the League, brace yourself for more bad news.

Small squad size should have been addressed in the summer and in previous seasons...

It get worse... My mate who's at the game just texted me to say he's just seen Sammy Lee getting forcefully escorted from the ground by stewards. God knows why

Mane needs to be coached to carm down.
    Mayuka: agree
    Yoshida: decent back up
Long: is not a out and out striker.

Who else have we bought in not first team material?
