The thing is DT, Adel is a menace on the pitch when he's fit, everyone knows that. But if he's not fit then no amount of skill is going to make his inclusion worthwhile. So the question is, is he or isn't he fit? And if he's not fit, why? Sir Les was getting stuck into him a bit on that QPR q&a thingy posted up on the website the other day as well. Again - talking about him being constantly injured and unfit. It's difficult to know quite where the truth lies but if you were in a relegation scrap and had quality players at your disposal but weren't using them just because you didn't like them...that would be insanely stupid. I can't believe that's happening (well not totally anyway)
He's never made it anywhere at the highest level. He stood out in the Championship, he's always looked an ineffective luxury in the PL and his record proves it.
Sorry DT how can you blame all of this on HR. Lets assume you are right on all your theories, at what point does the player himself stand up and say i will prove you wrong, I will be the fittest, I will play to my potential. Players who have been put in those positions normally double their efforts in training or scream for a move away to then go and prove the manager wrong. I am not seeing that here so I cant see how you can blame one man for all of whats going on. Even ig HR has mis-managed Adel, Adel surely be culpable somewhere. What the fook good is that to us, Oddball?!! He could go on and knock Ronaldo out of his position at Real but it means diddly squat when he's been worse than useless for QPR in the PL under an array of different managers and coaches. A more disruptive, divisive and extremely poor PL player we have never had, nor hopefully will ever have again in the future. He's a disgrace to the crest on front of our shirt and has been since day one - even when we were in the Championship. I wonder if he walked over to the stand next Saturday, pulled his pants down, wiped his arse with the QPR shirt and then stuck his backside in Stroller's face, would Stroller still turn around and say "He was just having an off day. Well he is now because Rodwell has gone downhill from a promising start, but he's played 50 Prem games plus 20 on loan in lower leagues, and people talked Rodwell up just as much when he was young. Let him play a bit with lower expectations and we'll see. If he ends up as good as Ramsay, Everton (or whoever he ends up playing for) and England will be happy. Everybody says that Ravel Morrison is the most talented English player for years and look at him.
You're talking out yer arse. Rodwell isn't fit to lace Ross's boots and never has been. We all knew Jack was over hyped and injury prone, and we stung City with the fee. Ross is a totally different proposition
I know its frowned upon going against one's own fans but when they make a fool out of the entire fan base then I think they're fair game. Tobes, Oddball (DT) is a bit of a character we have on here and a very intelligent bloke he is too but don't pay any heed to anything he's said on this thread. Everything you said on here is correct and of course Barkley had to go and smash one into the top corner tonight (and get MOTM) to highlight comparisons with the brat at our club as laughable.
