And I have fairies at the bottom of the garden. i have no idea what medication Brenda is on, but could do with a dose of it to cheer me up on bad days. Well done Brenda, you will go down as legend with all United fans with comments like that. Its up there on a par with the Benitez rant with his piece of paper and his fackts about Mr. Fergooson.

If you believe in KRAP then you will wish that EVERY paper reports this as fact. As I've posted on the match thread, I'm more than happy we won without battering them. Their chances created and the saves De Gea had to make, puts a gloss on their performance that otherwise may have been the death knell for him.

All part of the plan to get him a new contract.

    Hes just really, really unlucky.

Having accepted after the game that they were soundly beaten, the Dippers have now had 5 hours to forget what actually happened and are now convincing each other that but for a bit of bad luck and poor finishing they should have won the game.

Madness. What else could they have done with the options they had?

    Absolutely nothing.

    He's almost right.

Liverpool did everything they needed to do to win the game

Apart from score any goals and defend with any competence of course.

Whisper it quietly. Mickey taking aside I think Brenda is both close to AND far from the reality.

His team has had more of the ball, more of the shots on target and more of chances (2 to 1). In any normal situation, he would be right. And the RS would expect to get something from that game. A draw if not a win.

Yet at no point in the game did I think we were going to lose the game and when the first goal went it I thought the win was in the bag even though they were having chances after chances.

Yes the RS are at the moment really **** but it had more to do with United. At the moment DG is experiencing one of these surreal periods when everything he does is spot on. And the players around him can sense that too. Plus the strikers are given fewer chances than the opposition but managing to score more than 50% of thsoe.

So our back 4 or 5 are inconsistent and making mistakes, the midfield still not quite solid. But with an incredible GK and the ability to put the very few chances created away, United are winning. Some matches comfortably and some with some hanging on. It happened with Arsenal (A), Southampton (A) and yesterday with the RS (H).

I cant wait for the Villa match. If it goes according to this scenario, we'll have 3 shots on target and score 2. Villa will have 6 shots and score 1.

We didn't deserve anything from the game, yes we created chances but they simply need to be converted or they are meanigless other than that you lot wanted it more and fought harder, simple really there no argument to be had.

And why should we do that Christian?. I know its the season of goodwill, but I prefer De gea to be the equivalent of Scrooge over Christmas, and would be more that happy if he extends it until May. Christmas is also the pantomime season, and Brenda would make a marvelous Widow TwANkie. Well I think that's how its spelt, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong
