We should not need to be considering how away fans can improve the atmosphere at SOL, a half-decent team trying to win occasionally will give us something to shout about regardless of any away support or where visiting fans are located at the ground. It starts with the club itself and they need to provide the supporters with something to shout about. If they do, then there will be no finer atmosphere anywhere in the Premiership.
When I went to matches it was for the football, not the singing. Exciting football comes in handy to raise the crowd's spirit and there is not anything to do that at the moment.
The atmosphere has changed since the extension. I used to sit in the south stand prior to the exstension, then was moved to the north upper. It was a real shame as I had got to know all the folks around us and the banter was cracking. Success is the only thing thats going to improve things, a few wins and it will sort its self out. In the Reid days we had players banging in goals left right and centre, plus we almost never lost at home.
