I found the West Brom and Spurs games disappointing, it's subjective. I found them disappointing at the time and still do now, way before the "hype train" appeared.
I'm a bit perplexed by the lack of respect here for Burnley, they will give ANYONE a tough game at Turf Moor with their workrate and have a very good young Manager in Sean Dyche. I think that they are in the same place as we were just 2 years ago, finally adjusting to life in the Premier League and I think that they will stay up if Danny Ings stays with them in January. This was always going to be a close match and if we score the penalty, then we go on to win the match. They got a couple of lucky breaks for their goal and we really should've equalized before the end.
I still think you can make top 4 you need to recover from this blip soon. Look at the positives, You have 1 point from the last 5 games and you are still only 2 points from 3rd
Very disappointing result, but not totally unexpected. We don't score enough from our chances...this has been true for a long time...and this means that it is easy to lose 1-0. We need those early goals...and we just don't score those. Forget the games against the big teams, the points that annoy me are those lost against WBA, Villa and now Burnley.
Mane (at the moment, hopefully better after a season) and long for me aren't the quality I would like in a starting 11 for us. Good squad players and options from the bench. I'm pinning a lot on jrod coming back even better than before he was injured! Seriously need a quality wide/attacking mid option and a top quality alternative to pelle. For me we have been pretty poor for a while. Although we beat Leicester we were poor, since then performances haven't improved and we've had injuries dropping our quality. Still a good start but I have lost a lot of that super fun enthusiasm now. Shame as was really nice while it lasted. Gave an insight into supporting a top team, winning most weeks and looking forward to the next game etc
Even the big teams drop points to the smaller clubs ocasionally, we are going to get beaten sometimes, especially away from home.

This was arguably going to be harder then the previous 3 games, due to us wanting to get back to winning ways and facing a club fighting for their lives. We played poorly, but had chances to kill the game off long before the Burnley goal. Frustrating. On a positive note Hesketh looked very composed, and it was great to see Ward-Prowse back on the pitch too. Hopefully Schneiderlin will be back for Tuesday as well.
Although I agree in principle, I haven't yet given up on us coming out of this slump. Bad results have all arrived together...just as we had a row of good results. The team seem to have lost their edge...but the important thing will be how we do compared with those below or near us. After all West Ham only drew today...missed a chance to open a gap (as just one example).
Yep, although I think it's more the lack of quality in our play that's been evident for a few games that disappoints.
