0-0 draw. Which I hate to see but its better than a loss. They're going to be very tired. Both teams have tons of injuries.

Both being tired and full of injuries might lead to plenty of goals. Another 4-4 draw?

Hey I'd take that over a 0-0. Im waiting to hear who is in their team for today but if said players are in fact out their midfield should be terrible.

Quite an attacking line-up, especially when most of the bench are attack minded too.

Hmm don't see much creativity on offer from the wing. Hope Papiss doesn't end up crocked again too.

Really for the life of me cannot understand Gouffran's inclusion. An extra body in midfield would have been a better option I feel, although Anita hasn't played well either this season so that's debatable. It just seems that Gouffran is there because he runs a bit, but he offers next to nothing else. Even Armstrong may have been a better option as he at least has something of a spark going forward and would be willing to put a shift in as a local lad who has had limited opportunities. I'll go with Pardew for now and support him once more.. but if Gouffran doesn't deliver an absolutely amazing performance today I see no reason to start him again any time in this Christmas period barring horrendous injuries.

Ambitious line up. I assume we are thinking they have defensive problems and we wanna have a go. You have to have the ball though! Gouf does not deserve a start. Haidara or Willo makes no difference for me, both dodgy defensively. Hopefully Willo is on a good night. Any points from this is a great result so we can have a go.

Loved to see him go for headers during his time with us.

Also, Sammy is starting to solidify his spot on the team. Good for him, that's us stuck with another Ameobi for the next ten years!

Yeah can't blame pards for going to willo and summer at lb. More defensive then haidara at lb and dummett at cb. Would've liked cabella in for gouff too but I bet well see him at some point.

I'm feeling quite relaxed for once. I think its cos it really will be a bonus to get anything today so there isn't anything to lose except suspensions and injuries for the week ahead.
