The racing action isn't over this year - the ROC Race of Champions (which was absent last year due to political unrest in Thailand) will gather all-stars from the top divisions of motorsport in the world, including Formula One, Le Mans, IndyCar, NASCAR and more to crown the fastest country and the fastest driver in the world - the Champion of Champions.

Held at Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados in this year, the track will take place on a unique track with two parallel lanes linked by a crossover bridge. This year’s track will be twice as long as recent years, leading to even more speed – and adrenaline…

There are two prestigious titles up for grabs over a weekend of non-stop action and entertainment featuring over 60 individual duels. First, on Saturday December 13 the drivers pair up in teams based on country/region for the ROC Nations Cup. Then on Sunday December 14 all friendly co-operation goes out of the window in the Race Of Champions as they slug it out to be crowned individual ‘Champion of Champions’.

Really sad that there is no team Germany for obvious reasons. Could have been 7 out of 7 titles.
    But a good event nonetheless.

Yeah, I think that's the main thing stopping Seb from coming back sadly.

As per usual, they're bringing in some pretty decent kit:

    - VW Polo RX
    - KTM X-Bow
    - Euro NASCAR
    - ROC Buggy
    - Robby Gordon's Stadium Super Trucks <laugh> WTF?
    - Ariel Atom Cup
And last but not least my dream car...
    - Audi R8 LMS

With all due respect... David Coulthard... <laugh>

My money's on Team Nordic, mainly because I've hardly heard of anyone else, but a "Team Seb" would have been fun.

Team France walkover IMO, Grosjean is pretty mighty in this event and Ocon is a rising star.

I can live with that, tending towards being a bit of a Grosjean fanboy when he's in a good car, (but don't tell anyone <cool>). Will have to watch out for Ocon.

    Nightmare trying to watch this.

Moving it out of a stadium should give a better track, but it doesn't really look like it has, and there's no crowd to speak of. It's just racing drivers mucking around.

I know it's a cliche, but this competition really isn't what it used to be.

From now on to be known as Doughnut Coulthard. I'll have to eat my words. But ... this competition really isn't what it used to be.

Apologies if anyone else had mentioned this but I had a quick scan through and couldn't see it. Coulthard wins the RoC.

Not sure why I am so unexpectedly pleased about this. Maybe it's just nice to see him win something!

Thank you whoever put my post on here. Managed to miss the entire thread! D'oh!

Anyway, still strangely chuffed about this.
