I got into a conversation at work (with a Coventry fan) about how many football league grounds we had been to - found out I have been to 57 - they are: Premier League (14) - Arsenal (Highbury), Aston Villa, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, QPR, Southampton (Dell and St Marys), Stoke, Tottenham, West Brom and West Ham Championship (18) - Birmingham, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton (Goldstone & Withdean), Charlton, Derby, Fulham, Huddersfield (Old), Ipswich, Leeds, Millwall, Norwich, Nottingham Forest, Reading, Sheff Wed, Wigan and Wolves League 1 (15) - Barnsley, Bradford, Chesterfield (Saltergate), City, Colchester (Layer Road), Coventry (Highfield Rd & Ricoh), Crawley, Crewe, Notts, Co, Port Vale, Preston, Scunthorpe, Sheff Utd, Walsall and Yeovil League 2 (10) - Cheltenham, Exeter, Luton, Newport (Old), Northampton, Oxford (Manor Ground) Plymouth, Portsmouth, Shrewsbury and York Of the 57, I've seen City at 42 of them. How many have you guys done?
Way better than me but I've lived half my life overseas. I've done 18, all with City except West Ham, Soton & Villa which was to watch games with mates who supported them. Here's my list; West Ham Southampton Aston Villa Stoke West Brom Middlesborough Brentford Blackburn Notts Forest Wolves Fulham Birmingham Swindon Notts County Walsall Coventry Shrewsbury Oxford Favourite ground out of these was West Ham - great atmosphere and a trip to the Boelyn Tavern before and after the game. Really good bunch of fans who know their stuff. They won 2-1 against Newcastle. Worst ground was Middlesborough, the old Ayresome Park. Not only was it a complete dump but Citylost (missed a penalty as well) and the away coaches got bricked. My mate & I were chased from the ground by a bunch of Boro fans but outran them and made it to the train safely. Unfortunately the train was full of Cardiff fans coming back from Newcastle or Sunderland and all hell broke loose on the train. Those were the days......
I've been to Plymouth Argyle Torquay United Southampton Bournemouth Yeovil Hereford Swindon Cheltenham Walsall Wolverhampton Shrewsbury Aston Villa Leicester Derby Notts forest Notts county Burton Gillingham Bristol Rovers Bristol City Milemium stadium And hopefully Wembley soon
