At least he is brutally honest and knows when someone is good enough or not. Also means he might be on the bench more.

He's the one who wanted Rafa out and recommended Roy for the job.

Gerrard's always struck me as someone who wants to play every game. And do everything in that game.

It is strongly rumoured that both gerrard and carra put the nails in rafa's coffin... i do not know that the hodgson thing is really true

We can say kenny dalglish was involved in that debacle.

He's still new to the job relatively speaking, I think coming to England was a good move. Even though he's not doing well, he won't get the kind of experience he did managing in Germany and the kind he is getting now, working as a no 2 coach in Germany.

Am pretty sure but not 100% that most managers have a tough time of it in their first two jobs. Heck, managers managing 10 to 15 years can have a run of two jobs that went south :D

And no I reckon we should not go for Sami if Rodgers gets the chop at some point. A bigger risk than buying Badon that would be

No, he joined as player, then went into coaching after he retired from playing.

My opinion is LFC should go get nicola cortese who should then go about assembling a top coaching staff and IMO you cannot have too many coaches so I'd allow any first team coach bring 2/3 guys with him but i'd absolutely insist that my coaches are maintained.

I'd rather a 1st team coach looking over his shoulder at hyppia as his replacement than having a roy hodgson situation again...

I'd hire sami on some place in the clubs structure... if he's got a pro licence.... anyone know if he's got his qualifications to actually do the job.

actually i have an update for this

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...dgson-England-bench-World-Cup-qualifiers.html

so it seems smai made a bad choice of where to go get experience <laugh>

but fair play to the guy

"as rookie boss of Bundesliga side Bayer, Hyypia has to spend time on the road, as part of his Pro A licence course, and asked his former Finland boss Hodgson if he could track him through the final stages of England’s qualifying campaign.
Hyypia will study Hodgson’s methods on the training pitch this week and is hoping for permission to join him on the bench, against Montenegro on Friday and Poland next Tuesday."

Its not helped him fix the brighton crap but at least he's gone about making himself the best he can be. HE is still doing the top job too soon and needs a few years at a big cub under a top man... If we get klopp :bandit: I vote we get hyypia in under him
