    Hello,

Coventry fan in peace here. I lived in Bristol for four years whilst at uni and absolutely love the place so i thought this was the perfect excuse to pay a very brief visit back. I came to Ashton Gate several times (in fonder years when we were both in the Championship) but every time I did, i either got dropped off or got a bus etc. Coming from near Coventry tonight my dad and myself are driving and i was hoping someone might be able to inform me of somewhere (preferably free) that i may be able to park. I remember there being a supermarket (possibly a Sainsburys) just down the road over a roundabout or two, is that available to park in or are there matchday restrictions?
Any help will be greatly appreciated and best of luck for the rest of the season (bar tonight obviously) you look like you could walk it and as we're nowhere near the running i hope you do!

    hi

there is plenty of on street parking around the ground,if you arrive early you could even find a space right out side the ground in front of the park.

Sadly won't be there tonight a xmas do to attend, but if we play like we did Sunday you will romp it,I hope SC put a full team out,A Good day out at Wembley is not to be sniffed at<ok>

You can't park in Sainsburys unless you want a fine, neither can you park in the shops outside the ground (currys, pc world etc) but like said above there is plenty of parking down the side streets, you'll find somewhere but if you want to pay £5 you can park opposite the ground where the massive babcock building is.

Thanks for you help guys. With regards to us 'romping it' if you play like you did on Sunday i can't believe this to be true. I can't remember the last time we convincingly beat someone let alone romping someone

Well played lads. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip despite the result. Thought we gave a good account of ourselves in the first half but our defensive vulnerability was definitely exposed. Good luck for the rest of the tournament!

LET'S hope we can get past the gills and have 45000 on the way to Wembley for the final, let's hope it is better than the last time, the heartbreak against Hull for the prem place.
i have never walked out of a stadium so gutted in all my life.

I spent Friday night flying "home" for that game and missed my wedding anniversary on Sunday as I was flying back to Tampa. "Gutted" is an understatement...cost me an arm and a leg and a slightly annoyed (but understanding) wife!

There is no way we'll be allocated 45k for the final (should we get there) didn't Arsenal and Hull only get 25k each for an FA cup final?... now I know more (business) people would have been interested in that game so the FA could have just gave them away to all these corporates instead of letting real fans have them but im sure they'll still do it for the JPT too. Reckon we'll be allowed 30-35 thousand.

I thought the allocation is 35k each plus 20k corporate.

Missed the play off final as my daughter had her tonsils out the day before, and I was bringing her home the day of the final. Pissed off is an understatement especially as the bastard FA switched Championship final from Monday to Saturday's that season then back again the following year. BASTARDS

Think you will find we will get 45000 as two teams notts county and walsall will not take anything like that amount.Preston would take a big following.

Bearing in mind the capacity at Wembley they will want bums on seats.

We had this situation years ago against Mansfield.

Lets not forget a day out a Wembley is not to be sniffed at,how many clubs get a chance of playing there.

Preston would be the best from a interest point of view, and would take more than Walsall and Notts County.

We've got two games to better our opponents too get there yet, let's not count our chickens before they're hatched, Gillingham are going to give us a tough time, they also want to win and I've got every respect for them, I badly want us to win but we have got more important things to achieve than a trip to Wembley, like possible promotion to the Championship.

I know where my priorities lay..

Don't fancy a good day out then Rickster, never turn a Wembley place down, rare as rocking horse s**t for the majority of clubs, not to mention a massive pay day for the club which will be invested back into the team,SL has already confirmed this <ok>
