Well Queenie, I have just got back from Noosa and I have to say that I enjoyed Australia. Did not see any hooped shirts though! Rest assurred that in my view Hughes is doing the business for us. Yes we have been inconsistent losing at home to Villa, Leicester and Burnley. We domintaed all three games without winning. We dropped points when we should have won at QPR and Hull. We were poor against Sunderland and did not turn up against Southampton. I think all the other games we have done well for the most part. For me it is very much like last season when we dropped points in the first third of the season and with more consistency and concentration a lot higher up the table come Christmas. We have more tough games coming up with Palace away and then Chelsea and then WBA and Everton before end of year. I would expect us to have something around the 23 point by then. Not outstanding but not bad considering some inconsistent defending and dodgy keeping.
I think if we had a fit Huth and an in form Begovic we would have another 5 or 6 points. It's and but's I know.......
O.K. HERE is POTT'S What in hells bells is happening on here? All this negativity, some of US not posting for weeks. Well we could/should and deserved a pt at Anfield. Utd same thing as Cris has already stated. (email will be on it's way to you later today Cris many thanks) So, IMHO Hughes is doing a fantastic job so far, given that we spent didley squat in the summer. We have NO HUTH, no Odemwingie and now Moses is out until the New Year. What do some of you expect? We can't expect to beat the bigger teams every week, It's not going to happen overnight BUT... From where I am sitting, about 30 yds behind Asmir's goal things aint that bad. I have not posted partly because some of you are so negative I am falling asleep reading the comments. OH and this site is garbage, keeps locking me out! We have just beaten Arse NIL NAY in fact first half we demolished them, out played them, ran them ragged. In fact Bojan is the closest player I have seen since Alan Hudson, in fact he is quicker than Hudson. What a little gem we have. So before I get too tired, and yep I will post again later today. For Gawd's sake KTF one and all. Ric well done for keeping our end up matie, some of you think we are having it rough? Look see at Liverpool, Arsenal and a few more teams. Well Tent, Im glad you enjoyed it. Noosa is one of the best partsof QLD and Im of to Coloundra myself for a hol in a few weeks ( about 15 mins from Noosa.) Lots of nice beaches, gorgeous weather and plenty of money there mate. Its only an hours drive from me too. You wont se any R's shirts up there mate, they are all Man Utd or Barca supporters Anyway, as for Hughes, it seems he's divided a few but thats not what counts. As long as you keep picking up the points and you are enjoying his style of footy then thats what counts. I dont think he gonna win any personality awards but why should you care about that.
