Lambo's use almost completely unfettled with Audi engines don't they? The Huracán is just using a Audi R8 engine as far as I know.
Well from that report it suggests the power unit for the Asterion is Lamborghini's own development, and it sounds very impressive. Even if it wasn't, and they rebadged an Audi engine as a Lambo it wouldn't be inconsistent with Lambo's road car direction and marketing it seems.
Lamborghini do at least have a bit of F1 history from the 80/90's as well. Bagged the odd podium and McLaren tested their V12 for 1993 after losing Honda, but opted for the smaller & lighter Ford V8. Didn't always go to plan............
Really, really hope Jenson gets to stay. His performances have deserved it IMO and for me it makes the most sense to make big future decisions in 2016. We have an unbelievably young grid. People like Alonso and Button are priceless at the moment, especially when you are taking on a new power unit and new aero chief. Magnussen has time on his side and showed enough this year to warrant a 2016 drive in at the very least a midfield team/McLaren. 2016 will throw up a number of situations- Firstly an exceptionally tense year with Rosberg not giving Hamilton an inch, and Mercedes could end up with a spare seat in 2016 as a result. Ricciardo will be leading Red Bull through a new era with no Newey or Prodromou- they could drop away. Kimi Raikkonen will certainly not be a Ferrari driver in 2016- he is lucky he has a 2015 race seat. One of Hulk & Perez will leave Force India. Williams will keep Bottas but with them becoming such an attractive team AND some great sponsors coming their way, Massa will be off at the end of this year. So, I think for certain there will be a Ferrari and a Williams drive available, potentially a Merc seat, very likely at least one McLaren seat, and Red Bull are an unknown really as Ricciardo will be a wanted man if he continues like this and Kyvyat could be anything. Surely Alonso/Button makes perfect sense in 2015 as they try to haul themselves towards Mercedes? Then as the market shapes up for 2016, make a committment.
That's a proper old school hairs on your chest fire that is. None of yer modern couple of licks of flame rubbish.
Ah yes, the gold old days. They knew how to do split fuel lines and engine blow ups back then. Don't build 'em like they used to!
NEWS!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/mo...be-revealed-in-Thursday-press-conference.html yeah right I dont believe you
If Button loses the McLaren drive and I could wave a magic wand I'd love to see him at Williams. He'd do a better job than Massa and he'd make a terrific pairing with Bottas.

he has been teasing a few hints. #WeAreTheDreamers (a reference to Honda) that last pic is a dead give away especially only just after mclaren announced they will spill tomorrow. Must have been tough for Alonso too keeping all this back
I'd be staggered if Alonso lets that happen after last time. Would be funny as **** after everyone's been so focussed on Magnussen and Button though.
Must admit, that thought crossed my mind too, don't think Alonso want's Deja Vu of the 2007 season, so may block Vandoorne, who, I must admit looked damn decent in his rookie GP2 year! Most likely doesn't want Jenson as his team mate too, knowing that on his day he's more than a match for him. He's most likely seen KMag develop (or not) over 2014 and thought, yes, you can be my Massa v2.0

More like everybody knew he only won because he had three years of experience. You've either got to impress early or have a big bag of sponsorship.
