About that embargo, you still expecting us to bring people in. http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....ted-whites-set-to-post-heavy-losses-1-6995691
i am sure phil hay said in the summer that cellino was expecting to fall foul of the ffp, hence the influx of players in the transfer window. I did think though we could still sign players as long as it was on a one in one out basis.
SSSH - Don't tell Chesh - depite the falling income and rising debt, he still thinks you can prove that you have turned a corner and will come out of the embargo within a day #Cellinothemagician
And the oldest person on the Internet still thinks we are making good progress. If it wasn't my club and if they were less deluded it would be funny.
Leeds United owe loans of £20m to GFH and £12m to Cellino but still don't own the stadium or training ground - but it doesn't matter because they really are moving forward
Cellino needs to make another one of his "we are debt free" or "I promise to buy the ground back in January" speeches to appease the natives - even Boggers isn't defending him anymore
Must be at least 100 years, it seems they have been spouting bollocks for 99.5 of those years... And yet you keep setting him up for falls. It's cruel.
These are the accounts for 13/14. I don't think Cellino can be judged on the financial situation until he's completed the next financial year. Although I'm hoping this doesn't include the Ross sale. I'm not defending anyone here for the record. It does look grim but I can't get overly excited by this set of results. It doesn't paint a picture of what is happening right now.......
We are still bleeding money. Factor in the reduced prices this year and revenue must be well down. The Ross money won't last two minutes at the rate we sack coaches and whilst we carry a first team squad of thousands.
So what the hell is the big deal about not buying anyone in January. When did we last do any proper business then except sell. Some bloody short memories I reckon
The person with the longer memory is the one shouting loudest about how when we get two players in the window we are on our way to the champions league. Some of us spotted a flaw in the plan, you spotted another one. Come on Basel.
Fair play rules are not just for this season to my knowledge championship clubs are not permitted to lose more than 9 million in any one season. you are currently running at 14 million over and will face a transfere embargo. How do you recommend Cellino makes 14 million worth of cuts to bring you in line with these rules ? Moving out of ER & TA would save you 2 million for starters but surely Cellino wouldnt do that would he
You could ground share with Rotherham or Bradford would save you a fortune, cut your playing staff in half, and sack the tea lady too just running a few ideas past you
