Since being taken over, it's gone from being ranked the worst hotel in Hull, to being ranked fourth from bottom hotel in Hull, I'd stay almost anywhere else(other than the Camponile). Can't you get in the Ibis or Holiday Inn Express?
Ive not read through the whole thread but i can say that i would stay at the gilson again as me and the wife stayed there when we came up for my sisters wedding earlier in the year it was a nice hotel and the room was worth more then what we paid for it also the staff were very helpful i would 100% recomend staying there
I'm afraid not, he is a real, different person. I personally think the things they did should be illegal, but the stories made me piss my pants with laughter.
Extremely. I believe there are times when you get a 'submissive' and a 'dominant'. They were both into that ****, carried on behind their partners backs, and I got the details of it. They were intensely serious about it, my mate would be telling me, and if be in tears laughing about it. Pair of ****ing idiots, but great value.
good shout, we have stayed at both these chains (not in Hull) and find them ok, particularly the hiex where you get a basic (but adequate) buffet breakfast thrown in.
Can't really go wrong with the travelodge on ferensway for a budget stay. Only a couple of years old so in good nick. Think it has a 24 hour bar too. Picked up one of my international caps there. South Africa.
Ibis is best value, decent quality for value and you won't beat the location. Parking a bit of a trek, but not too bad for city centre.
