HULL City are interested in signing highly-rated Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez should the young Argentine goalkeeper decide to leave the Gunners, according to the Sunday Times. The 22-year-old deputised well for the injured Wojciech Szczesny, keeping three consecutive clean-sheets, and with summer signing David Ospina also sidelined, Martinez is attempting to establish himself as a new first-choice for the position. However, aware that Martinez had to be convinced not to leave Arsenal over the close season, the Tigers have been monitoring the former Argentina under-20 international for several months. The question is, could this spell the end for Steve Harper? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull.../story.html#KozeUJEquCCJ8ggs.01#ixzz3LIbL7OOL
spell the end for Steve Harper, surely the question is, could this spell the end for McGregor? If the kid wants to leave Arsenal to become a first choice keeper, why would he come to us to be no.2?
I think if he came he'd challenge McGregor for first choice but since he's third choice for Arsenal, think he'd be much more happy to come here. Especially if he had a glance at how many games Harper/Jakupovic have played.
