He's done pretty much bugger all since joining. I want him to shine as much as anyone, but he's simply not done enough to deserve selection.
Considering he has been played fairly randomly in some car-crash formations with equally, or more so,poor players, perhaps he should get a go in a decent attacking side for a change.
If Ben Arfa is as good as some suggest on here then surely playing with some `poor` players would surely make a star shine brighter ???? stand out from the rest ??? sorry aint seen any of that from him, he has flattered to deceive, and doesn`t bring enough to the team to warrant a start at the minute, if he comes on as sub and produces a few bits of magic then fair enough, consideration should be given to giving him a go, but until then this jury is well and truly out.
Has he even played yet? Not really been watching MOTD or been keeping tabs on other teams (I'm in that depressing stage now where the thought of Football sickens me ) but I thought he'd actually do alright for you.
Elmo Chester Daws Brady -------Liv----Thudd---- -Aluko---Quinn----Meyler ---------Abel----------- Above all else, PLEASE put QUINN IN THE MIDDLE ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS QUINN IN THE MIDDLE
My avatar? (Or am I missing something? Because I suppose it could look a bit like Mr Sinister) It's young Alana from Saga!
To be fair, I meant any player would struggle to shine when the collective is a crock of ****e and that is exactly what we have had for a few games. Then, Tuckin lad, it would seem Steve Bruce might be in agreement with you (see other thread). - I would love to know what happened in the dressing room and will be putting my ear to the ground to find out. But what a bloody pity, as the guy can play. Crazy game, this
Livescore are suggesting: McGreggor Rosenior - Chester - Dawson Elmo - Meyler - Livermore - Huddlestone - Quinn Aluko - Jelavic I honestly cannot see Robertson being left out of the starting line-up as the accent will surely be on attack against Brom so I think he might put Robertson in, drop Quinn and Meyler and put Brady in and use the 4-4-2 formation. I think he will start Aluko and bring Abel on in the second half as well as Ben Arfa and, depending on injuries/performance he has Davies Meyler and Quinn to pick from. I think we can nick this 1-0
My post was from the "Livescore" site and not my own selection. As I said previously I cannot see him leave Robertson out nor Brady in this match in which case I would guess that Meyler and Quinn would be benched.
