Well I suppose the question is did his comment insinuate that one race was superior or inferior to others. Its a hard to define boundary. You can find perceived stereotypical aspects on any race/culture in existence but its whether or not they attempt to establish superiority or inferiority. For example its a stereotype that all Australians loaf about on the beach all day....its a stereotype but I wouldnt call it racist Let me just restate that I dont think what he said was ok, im just not sure it falls under the term racism.

Very emotional scenes at the funeral of Phillip Hughes. Michael Clarke was holding back the tears by the end of his speech. #63notoutforever

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/nypd-ch...-votes-not-to-charge-cop-in-eric-garner-case/ America getting worse. NEW YORK -- A grand jury has declined to indict a New York City police officer who used an apparent chokehold on a man who died after the confrontation on Staten Island, CBS News has confirmed. Eric Garner, a father of six, died in July after police officer Daniel Pantaleo attempted to arrest him for allegedly selling loose, untaxed cigarettes. The grand jury began reviewing evidence in the case on Sept. 29. In cellphone video of the Garner incident, Pantaleo is seen placing his arm around Garner's neck and then taking him to the ground after Garner refuses to be handcuffed. Garner is heard saying repeatedly, "I can't breathe!" He died a short time later. The New York City Medical Examiner's office ruled Garner's death a homicide, caused by the officer's apparent chokehold as well as chest and neck compressions and prone positioning "during physical restraint by police." An independent forensic investigator hired by the Garner family also agreed with the medical examiner's findings. New York police have been preparing for days for the possibility of widespread protests in reaction to the grand jury decision. The city has seen ongoing protests since a grand jury in St. Louis County, Mo. declined to indict Darren Wilson, a police officer accused of killing teen Michael Brown, in Ferguson, Mo.
So the title of the next James Bond film is "Spectre" and will be released on 23rd October 2015. And Christoph Waltz will be in it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/30308894
Is the racist bit where it they restrained a terrifyingly giant man who visibly physically resisted their attempt to cuff him or where they failed to subsequently deal with his health problem? I've seen the same thing happen lots of times on TV of drunk people being wrestled to the ground in the UK when they resist. Not black people incidentally.
The guy was probably **** scared at how cops treat black people over there. Yes he resisted arrest but he didn't start assaulting the officers did he? He just raised his hands. There was no need for a choke hold to be used at all. Even when he said he couldn't breath the cop carried on. Then adding that the choke hold is illegal. The cop should have to go to court but yet again gets a pass as it was a black guy killed.
Been so quiet today, I can only assume Saints fans have followed the lemmings over the cliff in droves.
I was confused there: you mean: God, teaching is hard. Thought you were trying to teach God or he was trying to teach you
Was working in Colwell Bay today. It's getting a bit chilly to be faffing around on beaches. On the Island again tomorrow. Freshwater this time. Brrr Out of interest, What's your favourite beach on the Island Fran? As a local
You have my sympathy. Over early new year last, I took the VFR around the Island, a couple of times in two days. I do remember crossing the narrow bit of the Island from Yarmouth to Freshwater, and the icy blast had me heading for Ventnor double-quick down the Military Road. Luckily, the old Viffer gets out of its own way rather pronto.
I like Ventor, bit hilly though! It's the wind that does it. So long as I can keep moving it's ok. As soon as I have to stop for 5 minutes that's when it starts to get cold and inevitably I end up having to stop for 5 minutes when I'm stood thigh deep in the sea! Double brrr!
