West Ham have agreed a £10 million fee with Turkish side Fenerbahce for Scott Parker - but the England star has refused to make the switch.

The relegated Hammers are keen to shift Parker's £70,000-a-week wages and the player does not want to spend next season in the Championship.

But he has made it clear that he does not want to move to he Turkish giants despite the bid - believed to be the only concrete offer for Parker so far this summer - being accepted.

The midfielder does not want to uproot his young family with a move to Istanbul.

But the 30-year-old, contracted until 2014, has not received any alternative offers for his services.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is known to be keen to sign the player, but is unwilling to spend such a large amount on a player who is now the wrong side of 30.
