Clon 1.15 Leave At Dawn looks likes money for old rope.
If it looks TOO good to be true, can it still be true? :)

STORM RUNNER 16-1 Kempton 7:45 must have a very good chance now the handicapper has shown him some respite. Track and trip are perfect with the unknown being how he will go for an inexperienced rider. The yard is pretty quiet at this time of year but the three runners in the last fortnight have finished 2nd, 6th and 1st with all three running up to form. If this one runs up to his best he will take a lot of beating.

2.45 Wincanton - Ronaldinho- 10/1

Has the blinkers reapplied and will appreciate the better ground than he has encountered before and is well treated on best form with his dropping mark

Tizzards 3 at Wincanton. E/w treble. Stable over a baron spell, viruses et al. Firing again I believe and all with a fighting chance. Singles for sure but sporting treble for the Xmas kitty. Good luck all. D.

Is in the ‘horses in training sale’ at Ascot next week. Today will be his last run for Alan King (unless, of course, the new owner sends him back to the county).

Morning, all. Bearing in mind that my formline re horses tipped this week, on the old forum, is –FF4 was a bit reluctant to put one up this morn but what the ‘eck as I really, really like this one.

STOW emerges from the county to run in the selling hurdle at Leicester (1.30). This really is the grade for him as his handicap perch is a tad too high and in selling/claiming class his shrewd barn can select races that he can exploit with a capital ‘E’. Since 2013 Stow’s form in such races reads -12112113 whilst in other races it is a far less impressive -848P74. Expect him to enhance his form in these sort of races today.

Good luck, pilgrims.

General question folks, why was Just The Judge bought for so much money as a 4 year old in training? Is it for breeding purposes?

This novice at Clonmel is looking really interesting at 12.15. I'm keen to see how the front three shake up at the end of the race with form lines to both Shaneshill and Black Hercules to be tested.

15:10 Leicester - Kings Apollo

(Leicester's fences in the old days were always tough and were a good test of a jumper, probably the same today. The selection is not very big, but jumped these fences quite well LTO, and, although well-beaten into second place by the eventual winner Buddy Love, plugged on well. Small play at 7/1 B.O.G.).

Best of luck today everyone!
